Yesterday I purchased a 2004 Tacoma pre-runner 6 cylinder with 211k miles on it for $3500. My friend it moving to Greece to retire so I took it off his hands. It runs good and I thought it was a fair price and it is going to be my back and forth to work truck. My nice Tundra can stay in the garge and not have to sit in the AZ sun all day. The best part is if I get hit by someone in this I really wont care and insurance on it was super cheap. I could probably flip the truck for a nice profit but I like the idea of a beater vehicle.

This morning I vacuumed it all out and wiped down all the plastic and vinyl. The interior came out really nice with just a little work. I also couldn't wait on starting the exterior cleanup so I taped off once of the fender flares and painted it with Krylon fusion. It had a couple dents in the body so I think I am going to just bed liner the entire truck in desert tan. I also need new rims for it as one has a dent and slow leak. I found a set on marketplace for $100.

$3500 was more than a great price. Congrats on the new truck.

Do all Tacos have the same bolt pattern? I am also wondering if a 17 inch wheel will fit this truck.
