19000 miles in the shop for bad Rotors.
Service department is resurfacing them under warranty.
With the amount of chattering they should be replaced I guess that won’t happen unless there is a recall. Seems like a major safety concern? Anyone else experiencing this?

I know I have seen at least one other case of new model rotor issues on here.

Can’t fix warped rotors by turning them. That’s for getting the grooves out. They will just start wobbling again soon.

Good,ol tundra brakes. I have heard lots of complaints from wrapped brake rotors from 07 all the way to now. The consensus is that the dealer uses a 1 inch impact air hammer when they do tire rotation and there for cause the rotors to warp. I have yet to see a dealer use a torque wrench when doing a tire rotation. One things for sure, I wouldn't let Toyota touch my truck unless its a major warranty work. I would have personally bit the bullet and bought rotors and done it myself. Or the very least, have insisted on new rotors. Not resurface, 99% of the time they dont care to do it right. Think of it as a lost trade/skill.

Goes all the way back to the original 2000 models. They even upgraded the brakes in 2003 because it was such an issue.

Toyota is known for many positive things. Unfortunately, the quality of their OE brakes is not one of them. Toyota brakes have historically been awful on many models.

I went through 2 full sets of Toyota OE pads and rotors on my 4Runner before I hit 50k miles. I switched to R1 rotors and pads and never had problem after that. I’m waiting on R1 Concepts to release a set of pads and rotors for 22+ Tundras and then I’ll switch.
