If there is a thread on this already I apologize. I searched but could only find solutions for older models.

    I have a 2016 Tundra CrewCab Limited

I installed LED taillights and Headlights and have the hyper flashing issue for the turn signals (not the hazards for some reason though). I would like to fix this by replacing the relay since that is much simpler. Does anyone know if they make one that will work for this model? I can not find one so far.

What headlights and taillights did you install?

I installed them over a year ago and cannot remember or find the brand of them. I wish I could find my receipt so I could find out the manufacturer and reach out to them because they both said they were supposed to be error free/no hyper flash.

If they have been in use for over a year and just started hyperflashing, something may have failed if they have a "built in" resistor.

They were hyper flashing since installation. I wasn't bothered by it really until I just realized that the hyper flash makes it so you cannot see the front turn signal unless you are really looking hard. When I installed them I just turned on the hazards thinking that would be the same as a turn signal. No issues with the hazards as they show just fine. It is only with the turn signals.

Post pics of the lights so that we can identify them as a start.

Thank you for that suggestion. See Below first two are with the lights on and second two are lights off. I can't figure out how to add a video to show the issue while the turn signal is on vs the hazards

I see that ExtremeTerrain sells taillights that look like those.

I haven't heard of a relay that is swappable for Tundras. The only three solutions that I am aware of that work are the following:

    1) Installing load resistors at the lights (Highly recommend VLED resistors for this option as they are the simplest to install).
    2) Buying bulbs with resistors built-in (Doesn't appear to be an option for you since you have aftermarket built-in LEDs).
    3) Modifying the turn signal relay underneath the driver side dash by changing the resistance to the two resistance metal bars.

Can you point me in the right direction to find out more about changing the resistance of the metal resistance bars? I am not familiar with that at all.

Old thread but I believe it's still relevant. Read through it and you'll see there are a few different methods people used to get the tolerable resistance for the relay board.

I converted my OEM relay and it worked perfectly! The only issue was rear drivers side; no brake lights, no turn signals no power. I think I damaged the relay. It was working fine (hyper flash) before I screwed with it. ‍♂️

But! The 0.15 ohm resistors corrected the hyper flash problem.

My drivers side started doing this over the weekend. Passenger is still fine. Previous owner installed the trd led headlights and changed the rear bulbs to led. Trying to figure out identifying where the issue stems from.

edit: false alarm. Turn signal bulb came out of the socket and was rolling around inside the taillight.

FYI: I just got mine working today by replacing the resistance bars in the relay package with (2) 0.15 Ohm 1 Watt resistors in parallel.
