Not that long ago our annual licensing was a property tax… then they passed the “$30 tags” initiative (the only good initiative to come out of that screwball) and yet somehow we still pay about $100-120 when it’s all said and done

I just renewed the '08... $126 for 2 years

 

For a few years we had a weird DPS tax, that people voted for, and then flipped out, so it not longer. But I think I payed about that for the 4R with cusomé plates for 2 years. The truck is even less.

 

Not sure the bidding case would close. $600 in gas alone…

 

I love the idea of paying for multiple years. Less hassle, less overhead by the state (in theory).
