I cannot get this thing on for the life of me and feel like I'm going to break it. I watched that video but it seems to go on easier for her. I'm thinking maybe pop the articulating arms on the glass instead of the housing first. I don't know.

Hate to say it but I might have to take this to the dealer I bought it from. I've been trying for an hour lol.

Yup, I had the same fight as you. I mentioned on here how I fixed it, I don't remember if it was by pre-installing the little tall pieces onto the glass or not. And then, after the first time trying, I found using the power mirror control, it wouldn't go left/right, because I apparently didn't get that one in right. Had to pop the bastard back off (was sweating cracking it) and reinstall again.

    Glad you got it done.

Same happened to me. First time only verticle worked. Second time only horizontal worked. 3rd time got it in. Had the same feeling. Thought I was gonna snap the thing. Thank you for the help and info.

Glad to know I'm not the only one. It's a piece of f'n glass for crying out loud, how hard can it be?!

I really wish Toyota had followed suit with many other manufacturers who snap the mirror directly onto a plate that rotates Why they needed to come up with this crazy system with the intermediate pins, I don't get.

Please tell us you remembered to hook up the heater wiring
