These idiots hadn't touched it yet, so if she didn't take it somewhere 6 months ago, I have to fight with the dealer about something they lost a year ago.
She has leased since I met her. This time she bought to own and not only did she pick a fuckin Ford, it's a 1.5L with 18 fuckin HP.
And she's been taking it to the dealer and wherever for service for 2 yrs.

I got to see the actual build weights. The Nash is the same weight as the AF, but has a lighter pin. The AF has some accessories that add a fair amount of weight.

That’s what my dad taught me to use many years ago. Maybe it’s because he was out, or it’s pretty much the same thing, or it’s cheaper. Either way it has worked for me over the years.

 

Well...you could finance the bulk of it for 180 months as long as its a fixed low rate with no early payoff penalty, then pay it off quicker. At least that way you have financial wiggle room. That's what I do with each vehicle. Pulling $30-60k one-shot is just painful, but somehow seems less painful in smaller chunks.

 

This...just pull orings and plastic bits where you can before applying brake clean.

 

My in-laws have/had an old trailer that they were making payments on for something stupid like 20 yrs. They used it once a year for maybe 5-6 yrs and then it sat for the better part of a decade. We don't talk to them any more so I have no idea if they sold it or still have it, etc.
They're not the sharpest knives in the drawer. Which is tolerable, but they're also assholes. That combo is hard to deal with.
