I have a 2019 Pro that I bought with the Readylift 2" lift kit with the spacers/blocks and upper a-arms and running 35x12.5 on 20" Fuel wheels. With high fuel prices where I live (4.66 gal) I want to go to a smaller tire. I want to remove the ready lift and either go back to stock height with tires 1" taller than stock on 18" wheels or remove ready lift and install Westcott front with coach builder rear shackles and 34x11.5 tires on 18" wheels. I already have the Westcott and coachbuilder parts. What would you do? Also is there a market for my ready lift once I take it off?

I can't advise because I don't like any of the above. For me, the 20" rims would have already been gone! That said, if you get in a bind for stock parts from a crewmax, I have coilovers, UCA's, rear shocks all like new on a shelf in Oklahoma City. Good luck!

I just can't justify paying 50k for a truck and having an SUV with a bed. Just don't work for me, I'm opposite most and want a truck to actually do work.

Why don't you like stock? I have all of my stock Pro parts still. Only the upper control arms were changed. Only kept the 20" wheels as they had new tires.

Not sure what your answer has to do with have a stock suspension or a mild lift?

unless you going to put 32 HT tires, it don't help much on fuel economy.

I already said stock is not much different than an SUV with a bed. Pretty much a passenger vehicle, not much of a truck. For that reason, it doesn't work for me. If I want that, all I have to do is put my hitch cargo basket on my 4Runner. If it works for you, go ahead.

Been thinking about that way if I stay with 35's or taller. Going to get new tires and wheels no matter what way I go and if I go back to stock I won't need to regear.

If you are making this decision in an attempt to save money, I think you should temper your expectations. You're going to spend a significant amount of money in order to save 1-2mpg. It will take you FOREVER to make up that difference. Is it worth it just to see a slightly higher MPG readout on the dash? Only you can answer that I suppose.

That said, I would return to stock Pro suspension. This is also probably the most cost effective solution anyway. My only problem with the stock Pro setup is the rear leafs. People trash them all the time on this forum, but they are exceptionally good at articulating so that both of your rear tires stay on the ground (this is critical with no real locker). Because they can do that, they will sag under even a modest load. To combat this, I put RAS HD (roadmaster active suspension) on my truck. Highly recommended. Search the forum if you're unfamiliar. I can load my truck up to the max and then some with no sag and still articulate well off road.

To recap, I think you should do:
    Pro suspension
Factory tires or 275/70R18 (33", tons of options)
    RAS

E rated tires are the biggest hit on MPG

Thank you for the good input. Cost really isn't going to be that bad especially if I go back to stock. Have all the parts and can pick up used SR5 type wheels for under $400 and I have to buy tires no matter what I do and stock will be less. I will probably add rear airbags no matter what I do as I will be towing more often in the future.
