Noticed after the first 1000 miles my bed started to set uneven. It's even worse on a full fuel tank. Is this normal? I didn't see any mentions for the new gen yet. I want to break in the suspension to see if it settles to be sure. Any advice? I'll update with pictures when I get it on a completely level surface.

I’m also curious about this. I have a similar issue with my crewmax longbed. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on my but if I mesure from the Center of the wheel to the fender it’s 3/4 - 1” less on the drivers side.

This is common on almost every light duty truck out there, especially Toyotas. Do a quick Google search for "taco lean"

It's been talked about in the Tacoma world for nearly decades

Mines still off by nearly an inch after 2500 miles. Regardless of what's typical it's total BS a $70k truck has any deficiencies. I'll reach out to corporate and see if they can help.

Every Toyota I've ever seen has the gas tank on the driver's side.

Unless the suspension is tuned so that the left side is stiffer than the right, the driver's side is always going to be lower?

Yep. My F-150 leaned about an inch from the factory and Tundra about 3/4”. Spent a lot of time and money fixing it on the F-150 and just stopped looking/measuring on the Tundra.

Does anyone that has new gen tundra feel like they lean towards the left when sitting in the drivers seat and/or the drivers side back seat?

I checked mine just now. No suspension mods other than change in tires.

With a full tank of gas and nobody sitting in the drivers seat the height from the ground to the lower edge of the fender well at the wheel center line on the back is 38 5/8 inches on the drivers side and 38 1/2 inches on the passenger side. On the front it is 36 5/8 inches on the drivers side and 36 1/2 inches on the passenger side. The lean is only 1/8 inch towards the passenger side and the truck has a rake of 2 inches. I have about 1000 miles on it as well.

I found a simple fix. Shave a little bit off the bottom of one shoe. I did it and now no more bed lean when I look at it.

Unfortunately the rest of the world seems a bit crooked...

I've read so much on here about the "Tundra Lean", shims, etc.

For awhile I kept meaning to look/measure my '19 CM 'cuz I hadn't noticed it, but then I'd forget to do it.

Then it occurred to me that I hadn't noticed it, and I also hadn't been bothered by it.

"Hmmm... maybe I won't go looking for it." If one day I'm walking by and suddenly see it, then maybe I'll worry about it.
