You mentioned you were looking for a discount on Home Depot. Their CC is the easiest way to get 10% off. The discount flyer cards come in the mail regularly.

10% off, once, though. If they gave me 10% every time, I might consider it.

If I were younger and starting to build up my tools, or preparing to extensively remodel my house, or in a business that landed me there 1-2x per week, I'd probably have a PRO account and the card because the perks make sense at that point. Otherwise not compelling...

Once per flyer card and I get 6-8 cards per year typically. Only applies to one item though.

Meh. At the size of that corporation, that's making money hand over fist, if you can't afford to give me 10% across the board for being a cardholder, you must not want me to be a cardholder. It's only incentivizing me to shop at your brick and mortar vs. online at scAmazon.

I get it. At their size, they don't need to hand out benefits like that. But I have zero doubts they'd drive up revenue even if they offered up 5% on all purchases. If banks can do it in cashback, I have no doubt big box hardware stores can do it on merch.

I called Nitro and talked to Kenny. He confirmed this is the correct rear kit, and also that the front kit is not in stock. Also told me there's no conflict with this, with or without locker, on a 2000-2006 Tundra. He may have chuckled once, but assured me he'd never roll his eyes. So...

Still have no idea who I'll get to install it. I guess I'll head out tomorrow on a quest.

I can't remember where you live in CA but Basil's Garage might be worth calling. Basil has a badass 1st gen. No clue if his prices are reasonable or not.

Edit-It would help if I read your profile. You're close to Basil.

One thing about their credit card is that it extends their return policy from 90 days to 365 days, so if you're unsure about how many supplies you'll need for a long term or future project, but want to get your full money's worth out of the random 10-20% coupons, you can buy in bulk and return whatever surplus later.

I didn't know this. I've done so much concrete work recently that HD employees keep pushing me to register for pro.

When I tried to return something 4 months old, stickered for that specific store, but no receipt, and they couldn't dig up the credit card transaction, the guy behind the counter told me Pro program folks get extended returns also, like 6 months or 12 months or something, and he could take it w/o receipt or CC transaction if I'm a member. Apparently no questions asked at the store I hit. I was tempted to use my GC's phone number (he said it was cool to, any time I want) but ... I'd have felt bad if it would've dinged him somehow so I just donated the open-box lighting fixture to charity and called it a day.

Isn’t that their Pro Xtra club? I haven’t tried them. 20% you say? Interesting.

No, they send coupons occasionally if you have the consumer credit card. My dad has one and he gets a lot of use out of it. I think most of the coupons they sent were 10-15% off, but I remember he got some good ones when he was building his garage.

That's crazy that you have that many options. I think there are only 2-3 shops in my city that could do that job correctly.
