Whatever this forum told me to do
    agreed

Anything above 80 iat seems to go down hill pretty quick. And i swear for every 10 degree increase it gets consistently slower.

Considering you're at sea level, I think your limits will be how risky do you want to get  I have a whole pile sitting here (maybe I ordered too many), so you'll make the wife happy to clear out the space in front of the fireplace :D

@Fastlane47 is also at sea level and supposed to be installing a 2.2" pulley any day now. @Speedkills119 is in Florida and installed a 2.0" awhile back but haven't heard how his truck handled it. I'm looking forward to working with Fastlane since I get his datalogs and see how the truck/pulley handle lower elevation as he bumps the boost.

I'd be curious what that 2.0 makes for boost at sea level. I've been debating on going down one more but in all honesty on the trail run a few weeks ago this thing has more than enough mid range now lol

I'd guess 13psi. Speedkills said he saw 12psi from "a little rip".

I'm hitting 11.3 and holding from 10.8-11.0 with the 2.3 pulley, hopefully I will get the 2.2 installed soon. We have a ton of big jobs in the shop right now, so I'm looking at next week.:fingerscrossed:

I stopped getting above 8.8 on the 2.3 about a month ago, no idea why.

You throw codes doing this? I have to do some yearly inspection as well as emissions.

I ask cause I've had bouts with cats before in older cars and inspections. Not paying 14k to be back in that crap situation

I haven’t pulled codes yet since I have an Evap code but it shouldn’t since these are post all o2 sensors

I'll tell you once I get at least 100 miles on this thing! Isn't she a Beaut! Within the last week I've travel back and forth to Level Ten in New Jersey, over 1k miles of total driving.. time will tell if it was worth it. Pat the owner is a legit dude and is the OG of Transmissions and knows his stuff. I'll give a another update and review once I get on it after the 100 mile break in.. can't go over 20% Throttle... so I might be doing loops around the neighborhood

I have the 2.2, I thought at my altitude on stock internals it was as small as I should go?

That's my recommendation, but if you want to see what all the horse torques are like for a brief moment in time before you see a bright light, then the 2.0 would be great :D

On a serious note, while that does seem like a significant drop in boost, unless the belt is slipping more from the heat (possible but I haven't noticed that personally) then I wouldn't read too much into it. Lots of variables at play and we know hot air isn't helping. If the boost doesn't come back up when it cools off then I'd investigate. Yesterday I did a pull that was 1.5psi less than I usually see for whatever reason, I just chalked it up to being hot and the blower not liking whatever I was doing.

No thanks on glory torque. I’ll take 6 reliable pounds over 1000 for .0001 second.

New trans is in! I decided I'm going to do the first 100 miles with traction control fully disengaged so it learns shifting without the throttle body trying to close, even though I'm only suppose to be giving it 20%. Again, this is because the tune from the motec is piggy backed off the factory ecu. The shifts feel tight, but not clunky like it did before after the transmission was toast. Will report back once I give it a go!

If you said this someplace else already my appologies. Did you beef up your trans or did you find a way to add gears?

Took it to Level 10, up in New Jersey. Pat gave it the full service "bullet proof" 1000whp package... "We upgrade your valve body to a high pressure valve body, we upgrade your torque converter to a high stall torque converter, high energy clutches, super pump. Some things that we cannot disclose for trade secret purposes." @1UP what wheels are those in your picture?

So cool! I toasted my trans after asp crank overdrive pulley. New about but never installed upgraded clutches. Nice to see quality aftermarket upgrades available.

@Mdl yeah I'm pretty happy that there is at least a couple options out there for us tundra folks. @1UP yeah those look nice, I love bronze too. Selling my current set up first picture and looking up get thesereceived_624557919647050.jpg IMG_7717.jpg second picture.
