    2023 tundra.
    Need brake controller.
Does Toyota make one that's good or should I go after market?

Are blue tooth controllers any good?
I'm new to towing and no nothing about it.

    Thanks.

What's your trim level? You might have a built in one already installed.

The SR5 trim package and up has a brake controller. The SR does not state it comes with one.

So…? Your saying if I have a first gen (2002) Tundra SR5, I already have a towing package?

How can I verify? The sets manual says I can tow up to 7500 lbs with the 4.7 v8… but. Am concerned about transmission coolers, oil coolers, etc…

No, they are saying the 22-23 models (like OPs) have a brake controller in the SR5 and up trims. 2002 models or first gens for that matter never came with them.

Redarc. I love this thing. It replaced the old bulky Reese Pilot controller that was in the truck when I bought it. I got the tow-pro liberty model.

Another popular option is the Tekonsha P3.

Your 3015 SR does not have a trailer brake controller from the factory. I have a 2015 SR5 and installed a Tekonsha P3. It was an easy install using the dealer purchased OEM switch panel. You can see the Toyota part number in the photo.

I used a Tekonsha P3 for towing with my Sequioa. Plug and play, no splicing. Was easy to get dialed in and worked great.
