Just back from 1500-mile vacation and the Tundra performed flawlessly. Mixed terrain driving through eastern US Mountains and flatland around Ohio-Indiana-Michigan. 95% Interstate at 70MPH-80MPH. Mixed Eco-Standard mode. Approximately 500lbs in the bed. Temperatures between 65-90 degrees.

Running rolling hills MPG at 19.9 by mileage/fuel refills. Guage Indicated 19.1

Flatland running 70MPH-80MPH 22.3 by Mileage/fuel refills. Guage indicated 21.6

Tundra rolled over 8200 miles on this trip

Engine Power/Torque phenomenal pulling long grades-Effortless. Approximately 1800 RPM is 80MPH.

Those are pretty good gas mileage numbers! Are you running a stock setup or do you have mods?

    Here is current set-up

    1. Stock TRD Pro Wheels. I will upgrade to slightly larger tire once these are done. Hoping for additional options for D rated tires when it comes time. Most of my driving is commuting or running improved dirt roads. Rarely am I cutting trails or running rocks.
    2. AFE CAI.
    3. Have CAT Skid plate in addition to TRD Aluminum Skid Plate. Most likely this does provide some aerodynamic advantage.
    4. AFE Rear Sway Bar. Definitely makes huge difference on the road and suggest serious consideration adding for those who tow.
    5. Started with a Dirty Deeds exhaust. Ran one on my 22 Tundra. Nothing wrong with it but decided to improvise. Built my own exhaust from off the shelf parts. Went with a Borla Resonator in front of Magna flow muffler with the Helmholtz tube in place from the Dirty Deeds setup on the tail-pipe section. This provided exactly the sound I was looking for. Just enough sound increase with low throttle inputs, has a nice tone, straight through exhaust using stock diameter pipes resulting in no torque losses, no drone at all and definitely hear it on wide open throttle. Around town MPG on summer fuel is just over 17 MPG
