Hey just looking for any input on what size tires I should buy since I am due. Right now it has 285/65R18. It just looks odd to me. I don’t know know if it is the offset of the wheels or just tires being too small. I usually like a more aggressive stance but don’t really want to buy new wheels. I purchased the truck as is so I don’t know exactly all the specs. It is a 2016 limited that looks like it has been converted to trd pro (has grill, I swapped trd exhaust with someone for stock, some type of running boards, trd air filter). It has the rough country 3.5” lift pictured. It also has a slight 1/2 rake. I would like to add a spacer up front to level it out too. Looks like the front mud flaps have been removed and I have been contemplating removing the rear. I also tow a camp trailer about 5500k loaded and I know when I leveled my previous 2010 F150 5.4 with 33’s it seriously affected towing performance. Any opinions on what size tire you think would look best would be awesome. The wheels appear to be method standard 18x9 +25 offset. Thanks for any help!

Definitely room to move up… how much depends on how much you’re willing to cut.

do you have a body mount chop done? Anything over and including 35s will likely require the chop be done. You can get up to 37s with the right modifications

increasing your tire size will definitely effect your towing and mpg so keep that in mind

I'm not familiar with the body mount chop, I will have to research that one. Right now I am contemplating 295/70R18 and 33x12.50R18. I know 33's don't run true to size and are usually around 32.5" so that would only be about .3" larger than I have now, just wider. Not sure how that would affect the look. I will have to look for some info on people that have 35's and tow. Thanks for the reply.

The 295/70/18 is quite popular on these trucks. I just put 295's on mine last weekend. I was running 285/70's. The 285s are more expensive due to the odd size with limited manufacturers in that size.

That looks really good! What is your lift/level setup and what tires are those? Also your wheel width/offset?

I'm on a Toytec 4" front 2" rear. The tires are the Nitto Ridge Grapplers on 18x9's with a 0 offset.

Do either of you do any towing? If so how was the performance affected?

I tow my travel trailer using a weight distribution hitch and no issues at all.

Its the 0 offset is what I like the look of. I don’t really want to buy new wheels. Wonder if I could do a 1 inch wheel spacer? since that’s about 25mm.

Ya I have a 7x14 dump trailer I haul 4600lb dry and a 7x14 utility trailer with the 4 seat rzr. I’ve pulled a 28ft travel trailer. Most weight I’ve towed is 3 tons of pellets on a big car hauler power wasn’t the issue.Brakes and leaf springs are the weakest links

    305 70/ 18's or 35 12.5 18 if you don't want to do the BMC.

I have the same size tire 285/65/18 on stock TRD Pro wheels. Slight lift on top of the TRD suspension. I've been set on moving up to 295/70/18 KO3's, but after seeing a few others I'm re-thinking about moving up to 305/70/18 or 35x12.5x18 and using a wheel spacer if necessary.
