Originally went up to some Fuel Mavericks +1 with 295/60r20 KO2s. Was having issues with the drive quality and decided to make a change early instead of fighting the long battle. Went with the 20” Platinum wheels and 285/60r20 Toyo AT3s. Drive quality feels back to stock and I’m still stoked on the look.

Was definitely noticing the 68 pound tires when turning, but the biggest issue was the steering wheel shake between 55-65 MPH. When I switched tires it helped significantly, but switching back to the stick rim took care of it completely. I know people ride aftermarket all the time with no problems but that wasn’t my experience unfortunately

Falcon Wildpeak A/T3s 37x12.5 on factory TRD Pro BBS with 1" spidertrax spacers. Love them so far. I would have been dissapointed with 35s as these look perfect on this truck. 20230712_102405.jpg

Any rubbing or did you remove mud flaps and modify the safety stop under the wheel arch?

Tried reading through this massive thread and if this was covered my apologies. Looking to order wheels and tires for my 23 limited. Completely factory suspension. I have my heart set out on a set of Kmc wheels 17x9 with 0 offset. Installer is insisting that a 33 is as big as I can go before I have to get a lift or level and if I do go with a level I need to upgrade the cv axels ? I’m lost ? Can anyone please help thanks in advanced !

My 35s rub going over any kind of bump and I took the mudflaps off at stock height. But I am getting the dobinsons lift next week. Others have done skinnier 35's (metric size equivalent that is 11.5 wide?)with more success I guess. As for the CVs, I talked to someone at Adventure Motor Sports in KC? Super super helpful with advice. There is a lot of debate I guess on diff drops vs new axles vs just leaving it alone. I am doing a 3 inch lift so I got some new axles as the diff drop was not advised.

you don’t need all that bullshit to fit a 35.

the offset looks to be your biggest challenge but I don’t think 35s on a 0 offset rub on a 3rd gen tundra

your stuck with a load e at that size though, so don’t bitch about mpg and ride quality after you set it up

ask your shop for a test fit of what you want, that’s very reasonable. As long as your going to buy from them and aren’t wasting time, they should accommodate

are those Method 705’s? I have a 2022 SR5 6.5 bed and was looking at the 705’s and in your photos it looks like they barely poke out which I like. These are the tire size I’m looking at too. Have you don’t any suspension level yet to the front? Thanks!

Dude this looks perfect! You mentioned you have the factory air suspension in the rear too? I have this same truck but in blue print and factory air ride as well. no wheels and tires or suspension yet. What are the specs here of yours? any suspension mods the way it sits? thank you!

Nice truck man! I have the exact truck but in blue print and with air ride in the rear as well. Good to see you can do tires without a lift and the stance is still nice. Any updates on doing any lift with our rear air suspension? i've been looking and wanting the 2" dobinson front but havent found anything for the rear besides the air bag link mod that'll gain maybe an inch so it doesnt sit reverse raked out.
    Thanks for any info man.

Thanks to everyone who was so helpful in this thread. Had a 2" ReadyLift Level installed today and 35x11.5r20 Nitto Recon Grapplers put on the stock rims.
No rubbing at all just like everyone stated in the thread. Below is some before and after pics.

    Hello,

I'm hoping you guys can get me straighten out with my new truck/tires. Here is a bit of background, 2023 Tundra with a 1.75" RC leveling kit, tires are 295/60/20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers
Put the new tires (purchased at Discount Tires) on the truck on a Tuesday, had the realignment done that Friday @ the dealer. I had the tires rotated today at discount tire @ 7600 miles. The dealer supposedly rotated them at 5,000 with my first oil change. According to the Discount Tires guys tire scanner, the back tires had an inner and outer tire wear number of 15. The front tires had inner wear number of 14 and outer wear number of 4 & 5 respectively. Obviously I have an issue with my alignment. Truth be told my front tires are pretty much done.

    My question for you guys,
    1) did the dealer do a piss poor job on the original realignment?
    2) is there a certain toe/camber setting that needs to be done for the larger tires on stock rims?
    3) Suggestions?

I mentioned this on my very first post on this site, putting larger tires on a new truck was something entirely new to me. There isn't a better looking truck with larger tires than our Toyota Tundra's. Unfortunately I am missing something important that I need to or should have done sooner.

To help me avoid the same mistake a second time with 2 new tires please help me get this right.

Thank you all for the help!!!!

Powder coated factory TRD Pro wheels and 285/75R18 Toyo Open Country tires. No lift, no leveling kit, no rubbing.

I was unable to find this via search, but I thought I remember at one point seeing a document or post that showed all the factory wheels and their specs, including diameter, width, offset, etc.

I listed my Limited TRD Off-road wheels and tires and have received several questions I can’t answer.

Not sure but I've tried to find it too. Just recently (when I bought my sport) that there's a difference in the sport and 20" offroad wheels. . And curious if the offset or width is different. .

K&N air filter. Front windows tint, RC front leveling kit.
So far I can see that my gas mileage dropped by less then 1mpg. It is very close to what it was on stock tires.
