I miss my Tundra and will be selling a 2020 RAM 3500 (used for towing 15K lb 5th wheel) and getting a Tundra, once the 5th wheel sells. One thing I REALLY like about the RAM is the Active Noise Cancelling from the factory. It's the quietest vehicle I have ever owned.

Has anyone installed aftermarket active noise cancelling in a Tundra?

Looks like radio silence on the above issue!

I'm looking for a Platinum or 1794 late model truck. Other than potential mileage, is there a preferred year between 2018-2021? I've heard the issue about the transmission cooler delete, but other than that, anything else? It's hard to find information about the subtle differences between these years.

    TIA

I believe 2019 is when Apple CarPlay LED headlights and push bottom start came out. Someone can correct me if im wrong

LED headlights were 2018 and CarPlay/Android Auto was 2020. 2018 still has a transmission cooler, in case that’s of interest.

I drive a ‘21 SR5 TRD Off Road. LED headlights, push start, smart door handles, factory tailgate lock, CarPlay, dual climate, no seat heaters, auto-dimming, no sunroof, came with the Bilstein 4600 shocks as part of the off road package.

My truck is identical to my neighbor’s 2020 Limited minus leather, seat heaters, and sunroof.

I installed an aftermarket cooler including OEM thermostat and lines almost immediately. I want this thing to run how it was originally designed.

I think the head unit got upgraded in ‘20 when they added the CarPlay. Slightly larger but the resolution is so much better. But the 2 most important things are the smart handles and the wire antenna delete. I’m never buying another vehicle without smart handles.

Okay, what are "smart handles"? I have a 2018 so before these came out.

I've lined up my deal with the dealership. I am picking it up tomorrow. They have the truck marked down on "special" for $3,380 off MSRP. With my trade-in this new truck will cost me around $12,000 out the door. I'm pretty happy about this deal. It's Celestial Silver, which I don't mind. I am really happy I found one with the TRD Package.

Tan all the way! I have seen Lexus' with the cream interior and you can see hints of blue from people's jeans. I never liked that lighter color.
