I'm not sure what the actual offset of the wheels is since the dealer put them on before I bought the truck. A quick search on the wheels shows either -24 or -44. Here's what they looked like before and after.

Yeah I got under the truck just now they're -44 offset. Can't wait to get new wheels/tires with less of a bro-stance when these run out of tread

Need an opinion. Can’t decide on whether I should add the rough country sport fender flares or leave it as is. What do y’all think? IMG_5314.jpg

    Lots of stuff!
That's a good amount of poke. I would add the Sport flares to give you a bit of side protection from stuff flying off the tires. You will most likely still have poke after adding the flares but much less.

I did a quick Google and found them before you replied. They are nice and a little pricey, but if they're better than stock then they may be worth it. I like the way they have the drl on em.

I did it with a different bumper but hold the flare in place generally where it needs to go.
Mark a rough cut maybe 3 inches lower than where it actually lines up with the bumper.
Make a rough cut with a cutoff wheel.
This will Trim the majority of the flare off.
Go back and hold it in place to get a better idea of where the Final Cut needs to be.
    Mark the location.
Cutoff wheel again maybe .5 inches below the final location mark.
Use a palm sander to sand up to the final location.
Go back and forth between the truck and the palm sander until you have the flare trimmed up to the Final Cut line.
I’d recommend installing the flare (screws and all) before sanding up to the Final Cut line because the flares can flex a decent bit pushing them into place onto the truck and it can mess the Final Cut line up.
you can also install the rear screws and flex the flare off and onto the truck while you do your final sanding up to the cut line.

I can't tell you how many times we've had to return bushwhackers in the past... That's getting them from a distributor where you take UPS/FedEx out of the equation. Definitely not necessarily a rough country specific issue.

FedEx failed terribly . The packaging is a joke also . The protective coating on 2 of the 4 fenders I’ve pulled out has been rubbed through . I’m hesitant to order anything if this is how it’s shipped unfortunately

The way it’s packaged is terrible . Fenders are put into a bag into a very flimsy box . I’ll give it up to rough country for wanting to send me another set but what’s the point if they show up like this

We had one customer that we ordered bushwacker flares for, we had 3 sets come in and they all had nearly identical damage. He finally gave up and decided to have the 3rd set painted to conceal the damage. It was a similar issue, paper thin cardboard and next to no packaging inside. Looks like Amazon packed and shipped them.

Here is what I did, lined them up, made the cut, noticed it was off so repeat and completely butchered both front flares….. messaged @WrapCO who was taking his off and had him ship me his pre cut flares that worked perfectly. Have 2 botched c4 front flares and a perfect set of rear flares sitting in my backyard if anyone wants em!

Thinking of adding flares to my truck. I don't have a ton of poke (picture below) since I'm only running +18 offset, but I do get a fair amount of mud/water/road grime slinging up from the front tires. My wife and I are also moving from Nevada to the either VA or NC in the near(ish) future and both states have annual vehicle inspections. I'm not sure how much of an issue this poke would cause in a state inspection. It's probably a non-issue, but I haven't lived in a state with annual inspections since Oklahoma did away with them in the mid-90's. Here in Nevada, they could not care less. lol

I've never been the biggest RC fan, but for the price...their flares are hard to ignore. I think the Bushwacker Extend-A-Flare would be too wide since they're at 3" of coverage.

PLUS...like @DexterL experienced, I'm very likely to screw up the front flare trim since I'm running the CBI bumper. haha. If I have to buy another set, at least it's cheaper. I'm going to follow the advice of @jgoliath and just make a bunch of small, intermediate cuts to work my way down.

Poke from the front (pic is before I installed my bumper):

Well finally installed . That little gasket takes some time but not too bad . Trick that worked for me off the gasket is tucked in from install on the edge that faces the rough country fender . Spray some soapy water and can use finger nail to untuck a lot easier . I have zero off set wheels with 285/75r18 and they do not cover them all but it’s better . Let’s see of I can keep cameras clean now

Please tell me that those fenders are the “gloss black” that are the $150 option and not the base black.

Off topic but I'm going to get those same tires but pair them with the SCS F5 wheels (+12 offset). How do you like them? Any rub/clearance issues?

Right now I’m on a Cornfed level king kit . So I do have some rubbing on the front and the rear of the fender well . An offset like yours is probably not going to rub like I do . Tires are phenomenal . Light for what size they are probably why ford runs them also . They do great in the snow and aren’t obnoxiously loud

That's good to hear! What offset are you running? Your setup looks great with the flares btw. I recently got an email from USAA saying they give a 25% discount on Goodyear which pushed me away from Nitto since I can basically get a full size spare for free.

Edit: just saw that you run 0 offset. The dealer slapped -44 on my truck before I bought it... I like some poke but I can't wait to get rid of the extra extra bro-stance

I can’t stand the bro stance on my rig . Not a fan of the tucked in look either . I like Having the tires protect the fenders some

Exactly, I feel the same. An aggressive stance is great but I hate that I have to be selective on what drive thru I can fit through haha. According to tire size.com, the new wheels/tires should have me sitting close to flush with the outside of the RC flares which should be just about perfect
