Those, SPC, Total Chaos, Camburg all look about the same to me.

 

What width of tire do I need and what offset?. I don't want them sticking way out the fender wells. I'm thinking of some Metbod 17s

 

I’ve always read between +20 and +35 gives the most clearance. 34x11.5 is probably all the tire you can get without moving the bumper / fender liners to make more room. People run 35x12.5 with bumper spacers and massaging the fender liners.

Man if my wife wasn't completely against it, I would be going long travel from yall, but it is a bigger investment for me to go that route

 

The kings and upper control arm is a great option from them. Ran that setup before making the switch

 

What did you switch from and to what? I'm all ears

I would seriously consider Dobinsons MRR’s I love mine, they are buttery smooth on and off road and fully adjustable

How much extra do feel it would had been if you wouldnt have gone the king 2.5 route and just went straight long travel? I'm very curious, cause money isn't the issue at all. It's just the longevity of my truck. TIA

 

They are amazing quality, and I believe a bigger piston than the fox and king 2.5’s. I paired mine with spc uppers and wheelers bump stops and I’ve been very pleased with the setup.

 

If I were to do it again I wouldn’t bother with anything but long travel. The capability over mid travel isn’t even comparable.

 

What long travel did you go with? Coilovers, rear shocks, etc. And what fiberglass front and rear fenders did you choose as well? Thanks for answering all my questions, cause I really want long travel over all.

Super sick builds to the both of you. I'll definitely have to stay mid travel for now, I don't need to go super fast down these lease roads plus looks like alot more Dinero compared to what I have planned. Maybe LT on the next truck from sure. For shiys and giggles, what's your dad's suspension going to be priced when he sells it? And what does he have planned next?

 

Check @KevinK setup.... but order the piggyback 2.5 omega S2 to the 3.0 CDCV RR up front and the 2.5 Omega RR rear. Currently waiting on my Omega 2.5 piggyback S2 to finish my suspension. I also have the ICON RXT leaf pack at option 3.

 

Lots of good suggestions on here so far, so I’ll just toss in my two cents and recommend ADS shocks with Deaver U748 rear springs. Hit up Matt at MCM Fab and he can set you up with everything you need for a solid mid-travel suspension. I’ve been beating on mine for about 40K miles and have zero regrets.
Well, I wish I woulda bought bypasses the first time around. Them are coming, I’m pretty sure…

I’d be going this route if I wanted to do what you’re describing without full LT.

 

I don't mind rebuilding shocks every year, so long as they are rebuildable and not disposable like most things are these days. So I don't mind spending the extra money from something that is rebuildable

 

We’re both planning on moving to the lsk race kit. He will be doing the same rear setup as mine and I plan on a custom 4 link at some point. I think I’m going to list his front kit for $4.5-$5k.

 

I sure hope the outfit you work for is paying you for the damage you are doing and the miles that you putting on your own truck. I would think that the miles alone would qualify you for a company truck. If you are hitting a lot of washboards in the roads you travel I would think a remote rezy would be in order for sure but I'm no expert so don't take my advise. One thing you can do in the mean time to soften some of the bumps in the rear is just throw some sand bags in the back and give it some extra weight and air down your tires to about 18 PSI should help you some. I know it isn't a fix but until you can fix it might help a little bit.

 

Not sure about the OP’s situation, but I drive my personal vehicle for work and receive a healthy monthly stipend and unlimited fuel for every mile I drive. I do have the option of a company vehicle, but I’d be buying my own truck for my personal use and paying for all of my fuel when I’m not working!

It’s put me in a new Tundra for very little out of pocket, and zero fuel cost over the last 5 years…

I'm a contractor and get paid per mile for the use of my truck. So in all reality my truck is rented from the operator I work for, so I want longevity out of my truck. I know too many guys that are upside-down on their vehicles trading them I'm every year or two. I don't want to to be them guys, so I plan on making my truck last as long as possible

 

I have zero options for a company vehicle, so my truck is my businesses vehicle. I get paid per mile while at work, so I need to make my truck last as long as possible. I don't want to be under the value of my truck by trading it in every year or 2. I'm looking for longevity in any ways possible, which is the number 1 reason i went Toyota anyway

 

I switched to the TRD Pro Foxs from Toyota. I found that they are pretty nice on washboard roads and the faster you go the better they work. Smooth out the ride real nice! I’m not jumping the truck or anything like that! Fronts and rears are about 3k shipped from Sparks Parts.
