So cool. I saw this on a tv program here announcing they renovated it and was opening soon. Didn’t know it’s history nor what made it such a big thing. Definitely would be a place to visit now if I ever get to that part of the country.

 

It originally opened in 1973 I think. I went there in 1979. Kuul place but food sucked. Was always joked about by the locals. I can attest that the new menu is no joke. The flan is the best I've ever had. The South Park guys hired an actual chef that had a decent rep. The inside had a total makeover. Four bars now. Live music consisting of a 3 man mariachi minus the freaking horns and obnoxious accordian. Quite good. Cliff divers. A gorilla roaming around. A puppet show. Decent arcade. I definitely highly recommend going. I wouldn't have done that before.

 

They still have the divers. Technically there is no restaurant like it. It's just different. Ha

It's stupid hot outside

 

Yup, temp tags and all! Made it through and even still have my exhaust on. The new trucks have so many freaking features. There were times when I wished everything would just shut off and let me drive but I'll get use to them. The off-road mode for the cameras is crazy, if you need that much assistance off road you probably shouldn't be out there. It showed me my line on the trail and where I would end up based on my speed and where the wheels were facing. Didn't use it because I'm not use to looking at a screen when I'm out there but it's definitely a cool feature. Here we are airing down at the bottom.

There’s a Tacoma in town that has a cool like smiley face painted on his diff. My bumper is tucked nice and high so I’m tempted to have mama bear paint something cool
