I went to my dealer the other day for my 2004 Tundra SR5 Stepside 4.7 V-8 ( I love my truck...by the way ). As of right now, I am about 50 on the list for a new frame. Then, I get a letter about my airbag. I would buy another 4.7 Step-side in a heartbeat. It still runs like a sewing machine ( 94000 miles ). Has anyone talked to a dealer or Toyota about possibly trading up to the new 2016 Tacoma when they come out in November. Any buy-backs or incentives being offered?

yep bank account is running low from it..
    03 step side here

airbag is only a 2 hour job tops.

I have never heard of the buy back program on the tundras the supplier is till running strong why your on a waiting list.

On the tacomas yes because dana the supplier (f@#k it) and from my understanding lost it ( quit making frames) . Toyota had no choice but to buy back tacomas no supplier could be had. tho i have a dana frame on my 95 tacoma no problems and mine was up north.

As far as trading up for incentives or anything like that it might be tough (depends on the dealer) . Alot of people are waiting for it to come out.

Wondering if maybe it might be a good time to attempt to make an incentive deal for a 2015 Taco with @tgmoore 04 Tundra possibly????? Since ,like you said, so many are waiting for the 16 Taco rollout. (Except the 04 has low miles and will have a new frame. Keeper?)

You might want to PM @Aaron of warren. He is a Toyota salesman on this forum. He may know if Toyota has any incentives for your situation.

I'm sure that come this Sept.-Oct., the '14 and '15 Tacomas will have some great incentives...........however, I really like the looks of the '16 Tacoma. Wouldn't it be really nice if they would reward some of us 'LOYAL' long time Toyota truck owners. That being said, my '04 stepside 4.7 still runs like a new one ( with no body rust ).....so, who knows?

Tough decision. The 16 Taco's look nice and the dealer definitely needs to move the remaining 14's & 15's. 04 stepside's are hard to find. Especially nice ones. You may be in a good position. Assuming customer loyalty comes into play. :cookiemonster:

The Aspens are pretty cool when they turn in the fall. Not quite like fall back east though. Vail area is nice for sure.
