    I got a tonneau cover that isn't compatible with it and i just put some storage containers inside with the cover to store my tools. So had no use for these.

    The boxes bolt on to the rails. You remove the screws then the boxes. After that you remove the spacers, re screw that rail and your done. The spacers are only for the boxes.
