Caredge.com is much more reliable than this website, which looks pretty sketchy.

I've been referencing DL for a long time. That site is run by a couple of Volvo fanboys; they do not have a dog in the Toyota vs domestic half tons fight.

The thing to remember is that they only focus on drivetrain issues. You’ll notice that new vehicles have generally good ratings; this makes sense because vehicles tend to have fewer drivetrain issues until after the warranty. The site is most useful for models that are older.

It is not measuring features, fit & finish, quality of interior parts, ride comfort, etc. It is only measuring how well a vehicle runs over time.

Looks like it was last updated Feb 6, 2023.

Ah interesting. Yeah, by "sketchy" I meant the site does not look professional.

    ? I'm missing something.

Probably Canadian prices you're looking at. You don't need to sign up for car edge to look at their cost reports. i.e. Ford F-150 Costs (caredge.com)

I wasn't aware the frame is part of the drivetrain.

This describes their entire process and how they differ from Consumer Reports and JD Power. Basically, they limit their inspections to vehicles’ engines and transmissions. They do not double count vehicles that have had issues with both. They also log mileages when people decide to move on from a vehicle. Data is represented by year.
