Doing a fence job and needed to pick up the concrete for the posts, got a pallet (40 bags) of 80lb bags and didn’t have a trailer so it was time so see what my baby can really do. I have airbags in the rear and they were aired to 70psi. Also my custom flat bed definitely weighs more than a standard bed so I’m figuring close to triple the rated haul capacity. It did it, but next time I’m having the concrete delivered.

That back tire is crying. Those (assuming) LTs are good for 3400# each and they were likely maxed out. 3600# rear axle weight on these with another 3200# of crete. Wowza. Rear axle GAWRR of 4200#.

I admire your bravery for this post as you had to know you would get rightfully roasted. Renting a trailer for a day would have been a much better idea and safer for the general public you were near to.

Your assumption is correct, I believe they’re 6ply. I think I got away with murder today, never doing anything that sketchy again. Looking into getting an old 7.3 for work truck

Oh yeah, you're definitely gonna wake up The Safety Committee on here with that post. Don't worry, eventually it will be deleted. As me how I know!

Glad it all worked out for you.

I stand corrected, those are the 116t P rated tires with a capacity of 2760# each.

    Ouch.

Home Depot would charge $80 to deliver it on a truck much more capable than yours!
