I just used the vent/phone mount (SKU: TFEN-VMAS1-MG1). The magnet on the TackForm is plenty strong for the SG3…and the SG3 comes with a magnet that sticks on the back of it.

Also - no engine oil temp in the SG3. I mostly got it to monitor trans temps.

Just installed the Speedometer calibration unit. I'll test it on the way home from work.

Just installed it. I set the stock size and the 295's and it added the inch measurements. I'll see how close it is on the way home.

I love budget builds! How do I go about getting these OEM "Broken tab" headlights?

I put in old tire size as the stock TSS wheel/tire combo (converted to standard) then 37x12.5r18 and I'm off by 5-7 mph.

I was off 4-5 mph and on the way home the speedo and GPS on my radar detector were reading the same. Waze was 1 mph off from that so I'm close. I just need to get lighter traffic so that I can set the cruise and let is settle. I did set the cruise at one point at 75, and the speedo said I was doing 76.

I took a drive then connected to the module and it showed the old tire size on my door jamb for some reason. So I put in the TSS wheel spec again to see what kinda gap there is now.

Do you know how to reset those calibrators (I have Rough Country) back to zero? I set mine originally in 2020 with 35's and now I just put 37's on last Thursday and need to do it again. I knew my OEM tire size, stock gear ratio and new tires and gears but it took it from 1.3 something to .95 something, wrong direction. Then I tried the other methods and each time the scale factor would change but only a little and the drive differences in GPS were the exact same. Perhaps the little amount the numbers were moving it was only a fraction of a mile. I got bored real quick with having to go back home to make an adjustment because you cannot use it without an internet connection.

I read where someone (forgot who, a lot of reading lately) was adjusting the before tire size to help get there so I guess I can try that. Wish I could pull over, make a change and drive, rinse and repeat

I think there was a reset option when you connect the laptop to the module.

No ability to connect via hot spot and adjust on the side of the road? Or am I thinking about it wrong? I've got the hypertech unit which has been sitting in the box for over a year now. I need to make some time and correct my speedo too.

I wonder how I can get rid of the shakes. The vent moves slightly....I'll hold my hand on it in the morning and see what happens.
