What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Not any big changes atm, but washed the car and used griot's 3 in 1 ceramic spray wax as a drying agent. Followed it with a light buffing from a different cloth to remove any excess wax. Not too much added effort and I think it really makes the paint pop!

 

Installed an RCI engine skid today. No more taking the stock oil pan off to change the oil filter! Installation was easy and took me less than an hour.

 

Finally got around to applying vinyl from @Tundra234 on the tail lights.

Powertrax lsd and Nitro 4.88s on 33s are installed! It’s hell to keep it out of boost for break-in.

 

Been driving it more and now at five digits.

 

Luckily, I have all city driving for a few days. Red light to red light makes it difficult to get in it very much.

Updated my SG3 mount to a TackForm (got the idea from another member here)

 

Damn it.....great...I'll buy one too.

I just bought the one for the phone.....

 

Cool mount. does it hinder the vent blades from turning at all? can you still turn them 360 degrees?

 

Definitely an expensive mount, but wayyy nicer than what the SG3 comes with. This is the vent mount + a 4.5” arm.

That’s the only downfall, you cant rotate the vent CW or CCW once the mount is installed. The vent “flaps” can still be opened and closed.

My phone mount from them arrives today. I got the wireless charging cradle type.

 

The USF campus there was hit hard a few months ago. I'm in the Tampa area myself.

 

Not to derail, but do you know if the SG3 has engine oil pressure? I didn't see it anywhere.

 

no oil pressure...does not have an OBD sensor for that.
