Just loaded our Blackstone for it’s first trip in the trailer. Realized I don’t have a hose adapter that allows me to connect to the trailer quick release, so will have to tap directly into the spare propane tank. Will get that hose ordered when we return.

And the Prime Day deals suck as usual…oh well.

 

Yup. Wish the asses had told me the grill case combo I wanted was being dropped so I could have capitalized on the Independence Day sale.

 

I'd watch the guests and skip the headliner.

 

Never been a big fan. Bought the album years ago when they broke big and never got into the other songs. But I hope you have a good show! Looks like the first of the tour...hope that means they'll have full energy and it isn't a chitshow.

 

That's about the only one of theirs I've liked. Just not a fan of his vocals style. Not a dig on talent, just not pleasing to my ear.

 

On hold with blackstone...

 

Basically. Sat on hold for 10 minutes, guy answered and I told him about splitting payment.... he says "we have a sales team for those calls. Let me put you on hold."

No shit, that's why I picked the option for sales.

Comes back a few minutes later and tells me they can't transfer calls, so they want to call me back....

The griddle may be great, but I sure hope I don't have to deal with them for anything else.

May just say eff it and trim the cart down to where I dont have to split the payment.

 

At least they're made in the U.S.A.

Found a different carry case (the same kit that was "sold out" for the massive sale last week) that puts it below the gift card amount, try to order, and card fails.

It's blackstones janky site that can't process a prepaid card.

This place is a zoo on the weekend, but nice and quiet during the week. Light breeze, birds in the trees, and an occasional eagle overhead. Plus the sound of freedom in the background as the F/A-18’s from Whidbey practice carrier landings on a practice runway across the bay. Perfect!

 

Figured it out. Tax didn't initially show, and the gal on the phone didn't include it either. That, or I completely missed it, but I swear it was 258 and change. Rechecked and it shows at the last page and was 268. Dropped/swapped items and got it.

Though she tried some BS line about the 17 inch with carry case on sale for Independence Day being different than the two I pieced together.

Glad to buy American, can't wait for it to be awesome, but their website, business practices, and customer service make me wish I could have found it in person/locally.

 

Bitching aside, I'm so very grateful for the generous and heartfelt gift. I'm truly humbled.

 

We had 3 F-35 Lightening II's come to the CDA airport father's day weekend for a couple of hours. I didn't get to see them in person while they were on the ground but had one fly over the house at probably 800 mph+. One of the kiddos was outside with me and was a pretty cool experience to watch.
