Pineapple on pizza is like a ham with raisin sauce and cloves. I don't go there. EVER.

You are a gentleman and scholar. There is no greater scourge on this earth than pickles. Having been through all aspects of the food service industry (dishwashing, bus/waiting/cook) many moons ago I am generally very easy and laid back when I go out to eat and it takes a LOT to get me to tip less than 25%, as I am aware of the jackassery of Joe Public and the exponential rate of people actually becoming worse than they were 25 years ago.
Pickles on my plate are the only thing I will send a plate back for. You can bring me the entirely wrong meal. Meh - no big deal. I'll actually apologize to the server as I'm making the request because I will tell them that I will send it back. I'll stop them before they leave the table - "Umm you wrote everything down but my no pickle request. I promise I will be the easiest customer you've had all week, but if there are pickles on the plate (and I can smell when they've been placed then removed), I will send the plate back. Sorry." Most of the establishments I frequent, are local, non-chain types and the owners/staff know me so when it comes up we all have a good laugh about it.

Lived in Hawaii for a little while and that’s where I got used to the pineapples on pizza. They’re absolutely phenomenal.

Are we still talking about this? It is not pizza if it has pineapple on it!
Call it flatbread or primpy pie. Something, just not pizza. Ha!

Stock, with a few cosmetic mods.
No, never. As an Italian American living in NY I could never condone such a thing.

I'm not a fan of pineapple on pizza. I'll eat one if offered but I don't order it. However the next time I visit Hawaii, I'll visit a local pizzeria recommended by family and try their version of a "Hawaiian" pizza. Both my brother-in-law and an old roommate are native born Hawaiians that claim that the only way to eat pineapple on pizza is to have a farm fresh harvested, naturally sun ripened pineapple instead of canned.

And speaking of unusual or nontraditional pizza toppings, anyone here seen or tried pizzas made in Japan? For some odd reason, they believe we add corn or pickles as toppings.

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had was a pastrami and pickle pizza with a mustard sauce from Out of the Park Pizza in Anaheim, CA https://www.outoftheparkpizza.com/

Pineapple: Your statement of "not a fan, won't order it but will eat it if offered or only choice..." or something like that. I'm fine with that, same.

The rest of your post... I'm looking for the DO NOT LIKE button. Maybe even a HATE button. Don't hate the Japanese, but if those are examples of typical Japanese pizza offerings, I'm out.

Heheheheh, I feel ya. I haven't tried the pickle or corn toppings but learned about them from friends who visited Japan recently. Last time I was back in the old country was around the mid 90s and didn't see anything like that. The major pizza chains like Domino's or Pizza Hut in Japan offered the same pizzas in the US. Sometimes those fusion cuisines like Korean Tacos or Tex-Mex are awesome but sometimes they're not.
