My license plate frame aftermarket backup camera died so I replaced it with an OEM style one (tailgate handle).

While I was in there I decided to add a power lock actuator for the tailgate. Ran both wires up the same pathway the old camera wire occupied.

Came time to hook up the lock actuator and I cannot for the life of me find a pinout for where I can tap into the 2nd lock/unlock channel (passenger and rear doors).

It seems the proper way is to connect the on the passenger side kick panel but the wires I ran are already in the drivers side footwell. According to a diagram I have found, the 3 door signal is drivers footwell, connector NJ2, pins 6-7. I can't confirm what connector that is and the last thing I want to do is start cutting random wires.

    Any advice?

I wonder if those colors are consistent for all 3 actuators (pass and rear doors). If I can't find it on the drivers side I may just give up and extend the wires through the dash (gotta pull it apart to finish running the cam wire anyway) and install it per those directions.

    Here is your 2007 diagram.

For the left hand/driver's side, you'd need NJ1
The white pin 4 is 'lock 'and blue/lilac wire pin 1 is 'unlock'.
Seem to be the same colors for all 4 doors just different connectors.

Looks like the connector is a little different as well than in the Poplock instructions.
Same pins as in the pop lock instructions but pin 1 wire is a different color.

I used Positap for connections for my Poplock.
Make sure you get a decent connection, in my 2014 those wires were tiny..

I hope I'm right and all this makes sense...
    Good luck..1LL

Thank you very much, that helped tremendously.

Took a bit of staring at the diagram to wrap my head around it. Eventually I located the blue and white wires under the sill plate on the drivers side. Tapped them with my DVOM to verify and used a couple of positaps to connect. Works on second button press just like I wanted.

    That is awesome.
What is more awesome is that I was right about something.
I'll have to tell my wife, but she won't believe it.

    Glad you got it going...
