Purchased a console safe from another member. Now my valuables are safe even if someone gets in my truck.

Met a fellow member @Azblue who helped me get my steps installed. I purchased them open box online and they were missing some brackets that were needed to attach the steps to the brackets. It's the little brackets in the pictures. Azblue fabed up some brackets out of scrap metal and they worked perfectly! I didn't snap any pics but maybe he'll chime in with some. Took us an afternoon and they look great.

Did my first oil change on the Tundra, I've had it 3 1/2 months and already driven 5k. Oil came out fairly clean but the oil filter looked horrible. I've never had a vehicle that has the drop in filter so I'm not sure if this is normal wear or if it's been neglected. I also installed the fumoto valve to make the next change a little quicker. I also found out my truck has some heating pads installed. One on the oil pan one on the block and one under the battery. Won't be needing those anymore so I removed the oil pan one and saved the rest for another day.

Got Monday off for 4th so I decided it was finally time to install my OEM painted bumper caps, black lower bumper, and RC light bar. Install was more difficult then anticipated but that's because I just went for it instead of researching. Had to run and grab some bolts for the light bar but other then that install went smooth. Light bar isn't wired yet because I don't know which switch option I want to go with yet. Total blackout almost complete. Next piece will be the chrome tailgate handle and then new rims.

List of projects that are sitting in the garage waiting to be installed are

Nsv compressor: waiting for new storage unit

Air horn: waiting to run wires with other projects

Front camera and FRAC: again waiting to run wires

Modular storage: I think I'm going to build a rack with my milwaukee packout stuff unless I get lazy and purchase a pre built one.

Forgot to put my lift in here, I've posted it everywhere else on this site so I'm sure it's not news to anyone but I purchased the ICON stage 8 kit for the Tundra. This kit is SUPPOSE to come with 2.5 cdcv coilovers up front with tubular control arms which I swapped out for SPC because of info about them working better with larger tires, and 2.5 RTX shocks on the rear and full new RTX leaf pack with add a leaf added for maximum lift. I say suppose to because they installed the wrong shocks on the rear and decided to try and sneak it past me. They also only installed the diff drop and "forgot" to install the carrier drop. I have installed a 1" carrier drop for the time being until my larger one comes from coach builder and I will be calling 4wheelparts.com weekly to get updates on when my actual shocks will be in for install. Aside from all this crap I can say I'm actually happy with the look and ride quality. Sits high for now until I load the back with tools and upgrade my tires to 35's or 37's. Ride a lot smoother then stock, I bought the truck used so who knows if anything was ever replaced. Before and after.

Next mod will be installing the exhaust I got from @dirtydeeds. As soon as it comes in I'll post before and after videos if I can figure out how to.

I'm also trying to do some research on wheels and tires. I wouldn't mind keeping my wheels and upgrading the tires but I've had my mind set on some bronze wheels ever since @Clemshady ruined all other wheel combos for me. I don't know what offset will work best with my setup and what tires to go after that. I'll be checking threads until I can get answers. I'm also researching audio upgrades so well see what happens first.

It’s a private group so it won’t do any good. Are you on FB at all? Join the Arizona Tundras #AZTG and just check the classifieds announcement post. If not I can look for a good deal and shoot you a PM. I just checked and there are 3 sets listed but not really great prices ($550+)

Yeah I'm not on any social media, wife would probably think I was up to something if I started now. Ideally I'd like to get the wheels I want then get tires and once I have the set get them installed and turn around and sell my wheels. I was trying to figure out what size wheels I'd need for the 37" nitto recon grapplers and what kind if hacking I would need to do to the truck so I can have it all ready before hand. There was some nice bronze 5 spoke wheels I found on here the other day that were reasonably priced. I don't think I'd want to get my wheels powder coated because I would have to have the truck sitting on jacks for an extended period or buy cheap wheels to use once. I'd rather see if I can find some that can shed a few pounds to compensate for the heavier tires I want to run.

Finally got my tundra back. 5 months and 3 weeks later but who's counting. What seemed like a minor fender bender ended up putting my truck in the shop for almost 6 months and even though I was 0% at fault I still had to dip into my own pocket to cover some of the cosmetic upgrades I did to the truck. When I finally got the truck back there were several things still wrong with it but the collision center is working with me to correct them.

    The good:
because they had to paint some pieces, I paid to have them paint the lower center bumper piece so everything on the front is painted now.
I also paid to have ppf installed in the door cups under the handles and on the door edges.
They also credited me for the ceramic coating I had on the truck so I can get it redone. Little do they know I'm going to do it myself and spend that money on better products.
They also replaced my battery because they needed to jump it several times over the months they had it.

    The bad:
    it took 6 freaking months!
Also they weren't able to replace my Baja fog lights (back ordered) but @memario1214 hooked it up and is sending me a kit now.
They also lost my key and only remote to my aftermarket alarm. They had new keys made but after researching my fob is obsolete so they are going to credit me a portion of a new alarm install so ill be in the market for that.
The truck is absolutely filthy from sitting in a garage with the windows open for so long. They claim the windows were up but dust is literally caked inside the entire truck.
They lost my skid plate, working on getting another.
Several clips for door panel are missing and now the door panel is loose. I'm also missing the cover to the shift lock button.

Got my oil changed today, going to clean the inside and work on the outside tomorrow.

If anyone has any input on some decent aftermarket alarms I'm in the market!

    Progress!

Got my fog light kit in and was super excited to get them in but I realized I am missing the fog light bezel that goes in the bumper cap. That's not something that would have come with my lights so I called the repair shop and had them order it. Because I already had the lights open and ready to go I decided to throw them up top for now and run them as Ditch lights. Install was simple and they are sitting on sdhq Ditch light brackets.

Fog light bezel should be in soon and I'll move these to the fogs and install my rigid pods on the Ditch brackets.

Also got around to installing my FREE bed cover that I took from @TRDFerguson house while he was away at lunch. I cleaned it before install but with how dirty my work is this is after 2 days on the job.

Lastly for today I was able to get the CORRECT shocks for the back of my truck. It took 8 months of complaining but they caved and I got them finally.

Bad news is the old ones carved up this hose pretty bad.

Alright guys, today's finally the day. Just days after getting back from the awesome T2S event this year, I was in a pretty bad car accident. I don't want to get too much into the details right now but I was on my way back to work from lunch and a truck decided to make a left turn in front of me and I didn't have enough room to maneuver around it. Tundra was definitely totaled on the spot but luckily myself and my passengers as well as the driver of the other vehicle were all able to walk away from the accident. Pictures might be hard to look at but the Tundra definitely played a role in all of us being able to walk away. Cut to today, I was able to finally find a great deal on a great truck and I now have a 2023 Tundra 1794 edition with the TRD package. I love the truck and will get to work on modding it asap! I've had a few members on here who definitely helped me along this process so I want to say thank you to you guys, as always I appreciate everything this forum has done for me. Well here it is!

Glad all involved were able to walk away from that; definitely a hard hit!!!

Congrats on finding a replacement that you're excited about.

I really like the 1794 interior over the others that I've seen in the Gen3s
