Check the build link in my signature.
    Ok
    I just looked
Separate app (and subscription) for off road trails vs hiking trails vs the hunt app.
$99/yr for private land data in any one of the three (unless doing only a single state in the hunt app).
On Gaia current price is $40/yr (if you can’t find a deal for multi-year discount like I did) and I’ve got access to all of that same data (including private land ownership) and more in a single place with easy switching between layers on the fly. This time of year, I’ve got the satellite hot spot detection and wildfire layers on in addition to the base topo and land ownership. In the winter, snow reports and ski area trails are in my rotation. I just discovered they recently added an overlanding layer too.

They sound like horrible people. My in-laws are the same way and we don't associate with them anymore. Even my wife doesn't like them.
Anyway, kids are kids. That's why most first marriages don't work out. Usually don't pick a good one the first time around.
Hopefully this one doesn't cost you too much.

Thanks goodness its Friday... Accidently hit stop instead of snooze this morning and slept in by 30 min. Then as I was making my coffee, I go to get the creamer out of the fridge which was hidden behind a few other items. Instead of moving everything out of the way, I decide to grab it by the lid and try to snake it out when all of a sudden the lid pops off, spills in the fridge and on the floor. Had to spend another 15 min. cleaning up that mess before I even got a sip of coffee. :annoyed:

Nice Nerding. The prices look different on the Apple app store, but the devil is in the details.

What’s the value of the private land data? Is it just knowing when you are trespassing?

    What are everyone’s weekend plans?

I’ve got an appt tomorrow morning at DT to have the tires balanced and rotated. Then an oil change (can finally reset the nanny computer!). After that it’s all maintenance on the trailer… wash and wax, fix a few minor things and then reset the weight distribution hitch. Think I need to clean the garage too…

Sounds like a productive weekend! Always feels good to check some of those things off the list.

My 5 year old has a baseball game tomorrow morning in the valley and then my goal is to be in the water as much as possible this weekend. Will likely go swimming on Saturday afternoon and then on Sunday my plan is to grab a box of donuts, take the boat out, and get an early morning surfing session in.

Hopefully not a damn thing other than Sunday lawn day. Washed Sonic on the 4th and maybe storms this weekend. Maybe we can find something to do with the kids

Sounds like a solid weekend
What do you use for wax on the trailer?

I'm going back to work tonight, been spending a lot of time around my place this week. Driveway maintenance, house maintenance and tilling up the yard to make the transition to the new concrete. Got 7 bags of new grass soil down and seeded it yesterday.

I just use whatever I have for the truck. Right now it’s Griots ceramic 3in1. Feels like the coat I applied last year is still there, but going to do a fresh layer on top anyway.

I want to go full ceramic either this fall or next spring when I clay bar and decon, however that 3in1 is about as close as you can get without spending the money or all the effort. It beaded water for a solid 9 months after the last application on my truck.

I really didn’t want to like it, but the double-coat I did last summer on the truck lasted until this spring. It never beads as well as a good wax, but I couldn’t ignore how long it lasted. So I begrudgingly bought another bottle and that’s what I use now…

Yeah...that's a common issue and what I was expecting to hear. Did they tell you how much slower? For example a page that would load in 5 seconds would take 30?

I was using a work computer to look up and fill out an application for another job 2 weeks ago. I didn't tell anyone at work. I was talking to the HVAC tech about it in the basement at work. I was asking if they had an account there too and if he knew anything about their system. There's a desk phone in the basement where we were sitting. This tech wouldn't have talked to anyone about it.
I was just having a conversation with , not technically my boss, but a higher up that's filling in for my boss at the moment. He made some roundabout comments to let me know that he's aware I was looking to go somewhere else. He's head of the IT dept.
So, you tell me,......HTF does he know?
