91 today. Wife's car was reading 94 on the way home. That's fuckin kill yourself hot for here. Especially since it's swamp balls humid all the time.

 

Our taxes are outrageous around here.
1: the roads need to be in better shape
2: there's no reason for them to let the weather get this ridiculous.

 

We're stuck at 1% of assessed value, but that doesn't stop them from jacking up the values for more revenue.
Luckily we don't have state income tax.

 

I called the claims office on the 30th and the insurance company had ruled that the other driver is 100% responsible. I got an email this morning at 11:06 that he's hired a lawyer to represent him. I got another email at 11:22 that the issue was resolved in our favor and his claim has been denied.

 

Good. He has to pay his attorney for nothing AND I hope his ins drops him. Fkn idiot.

We now have the highest gas in the country, passing CA recently. Our guy up here hides carbon fees so they don't show up as a gas tax on paper, but we all know.

 

And we all know that if you pay higher carbon taxes,.....well,.....that makes carbon go down. Yeah, that's it.

Ethanol was sold as reducing carbon emissions. And, in fact, it does.
However,....the amount of carbon released from the ground when tilled to grow corn, not to mention the forest that was cleared, which soaked up metric fuk tons of carbon, would take something like 60 yrs for the reduction in carbon emissions from ethanol use, to break even with the amount released from creating farm land to grow the corn to make the ethanol.
It's almost like we just shouldn't bother clearing the land and growing the corn in the first place?

 

Since the weather shifted to decent around back in May/early June, this it what I've noticed:

The biggest retard punk douche pickup drivers on the road are in RAM 1500s. Typically 30ish yrs old with douchebag, please punch me in face sunglasses on.
At least from the glimpses I've caught, most seem in that age range.
I'd say 2nd place goes to older Chevys.
Surprising, if I had to make a blind guess, I might've said Ford woulda placed in the top 2.
Anyone else been paying attention longer?
Has the RAM 1500 been the top choice for twat waffles for a while now?
