My only hope is I’m not damaging the thermostat by keeping it pinned or anything. I plan to unpin it for winter, but in these summer temps it seems like a no brainer. It heats up to 150+ plenty fast, especially since it is also warmed up by the engine coolant via that puck on the side of the trans.

Mine pinned and it stays very cool 150-165 today and it’s 95 out.

Yes sir, @armyoffoo will have to give the specifics, but as I recall it's a 92mm Nick Williams LS throttle body he's planning to run since the Harrop has a 90mm throat already, and then potentially step up depending on how that goes. This thread lists some details of what's required: https://www.tundras.com/threads/ini...throttle-body-on-a-supercharged-tundra.75732/

All of it is above my paygrade, I just said I can design it and have a guy that can make it :D

Perfect, still in. Excited to see how the throttle controller he located works, if not I'll just have to design something.

Not cheap sadly since this was a two off part. The other one I have listed at $225 plus shipping and stuff and that's just to pay for the machinist and other hardware. But if you want it, it's on www.snivspeedshop.com :D

I bought an ACDelco 90mm throttle body, so the adapter will narrow from 90mm to 84mm on the Harrop side.

My plan now is to drop truck off Friday or Monday at a local transmission shop, quoted $1k for them to drain/flush, inspection and clean up the assembly, torque converter and valve body in order to get it ready to transport and then reinstalled once I get it back. Which option you think I should go with?

Option #1 PS, upgraded steels, rework/reweld the torque converter? Disassemble, clean and reassemble. No warranty. I'm sure they replace the clutches as well.

Option #2 Level 10, high energy clutches, upgraded steels, upgraded high stall torque converter, super pump. Plus some things that they cannot disclose for trade secret purposes. 1 year/12,000 mile warranty for roughly $1900 MORE than option #1. Build is supposedly rated for 1000hp, consider they're bullet proof option.

I definitely would go with new clutches and beefed up torque converter. I burned my transmission clutches and the auburn lsd in 6 mos. The tires would spin at each shift to 4th. Truth be told I wish I never installed that Bullydog. I belive for drvability a 2300 stall or less is good unless your at the drags.

Do it @Geego ! You will never own another truck without a SC once you do it...far less negatives compared to the positives!

Order placed, feel free to be lazy with shipping, I sent it to our OR house that we won't be at for a couple weeks, to save sales tax. Thanks for making these!

At least for me, it's never cool. Truck has not been driven for 2+ days, ambient is 97, transmission is at 102, under 30 seconds after start up, not moved.

Just researching now and would be more water less meth pre blower. From the research it won't effect the rotor coatings. Engaged after 6psi would be the plan and no change to the tune just used to keep cylinder pressure and rings cooler. You could absolutely update the tune for when on it to true hp gains. I could see 50hp if using a 50/50 mix with a tune adjustment
