I have 35’s on mine and I was spot on (within a MPH) ever since I set it the first time but I am putting on 37’s here soon. Still “out for delivery” ever since yesterday. They will not be delivered until tomorrow when Discount opens. All I can do is the math at this point to see how close I can get

Ah I see. I am on 37’s with no correction. I’ve considered getting one but never pulled the trigger. I think I’m about 4-5 mph off.

I was off 10% going to 35s from stock.
Worth the piece of mind knowing the gauge cluster is accurate.

There are websites you can go to that will tell you the mph difference between new tires and the speedometer setting tire size (stock unless already adjusted).

Looks nice. I might have to order these. $470 for all corners from Amazon isn’t bad.

I’m on 34’s and I’m about 1-2mph off up to 85mph. Not worth the cost to correct the speedometer.

Thanks for the response, that is what I thought. I had the 6112/5160's installed two weeks ago and alignment done at that time in anticipation of getting new tires last week. with the 6112's set on the 2nd clip the front sits 0.5" lower that than the back.

Some stance pics as reuqested! I noticed the bro lean in the first one, so had to measure. driver side sits 0.5" lower! Perhaps there is a coach builder shim in the near future?front.jpg fp.jpg

    Happy 4th Everyone!

Getting new tires in a couple days and have it narrowed down to Toyo AT3 and Falken Wildpeak AT3W. They are very close in all category’s and I’m drawn to the Toyos but WPs are more recommended. It’s coming down to looks and I prefer the WP’s

These will be SL tires and my concern is the WP’s are about 20% heavier than the Toyos - 50 lbs compared to 42 lbs.

What issues if any might this cause or will I even notice? Seems like a heavier tire might be harder to balance?

I think the internet and forums has caused a widespread pandemic of paralysis by analysis and that you just need to pick a tire and move on with it.

Order now if you want them. I ordered on Saturday, 7-1, and the were not on sale, they were $527. I called Amazon customer service and the said the only way to get the sale price wou.d be to return and the then re buy the kit. I started to do the return but the only return option was for Amazon pickup from the porch, it had a fee associated with it, reducing my savings.

Why are you part of a forum then if it annoys you that much? You could have just chosen the scroll on by option.

The Wildpeaks are heavy but to offset that added weight I bought the BBS forged rims which are lighter (buy them now while you can get them on discount). As for issues, like every mod , the added weight impact is reduction in payload capacity.

Never said it annoyed me. Learn to read. I said he’s wasting to much time worrying over minute details and just needs to pick a tire and move on with life. But thanks for trying to tell me how I should act. I’ll take it under no advice at all.

lol self awareness isn’t your thing I see - you told me on a forum that I shouldn’t be asking questions on a forum. But I’m telling you how to act? Can’t make this shit up

I have the Fuel Tech - not sure how they compare to the BBS but they are a relatively light wheel.

Nice, you can set your cruise to the speed limit and never worry about a ticket.

Awesome mileage ! Just installed Fronts as well @ 84k miles. Bought truck with 65k miles and think this is first change. Weird thing is the back brakes .. had dealer do them around 80k miles as took me by surprise how low they were at oil change. Anyway I don't tow much or race between stoplights so should be good for 100k or so.

Finally sealed the pinch weld mod. Will spray it down once dry with some frame undercoating.

honestly I had really planned to go back to the stock unit, as much hate as the stock unit has I never had issues with it.
Only decided to try this one since I had a coupon and see if I like it. if I run into issues with it back it goes since they tend to be a 50/50 on getting a good one or a buggy one

True, I just like the idea of android auto and some of the streamlined features of the aftermarket. I'll follow up with you in a few months and see if this is doing well for you.

    Alot of them
What size are you running? You most likely won't notice much of a difference between 42 and 50 lbs. I'm running the 285/70 Ridge Grapplers that are 60 lbs and I didn't notice anything when I put then on. I am like you when it comes to looking at tires. I am thinking of going to the 295/70. The RG's and Falkens are 70 lbs, but the Toyo AT3 is only 63 lbs. The larger tires is probably a little more concern when it comes to weight, but we don't get good mileage anyway. Just curious, why are they steering you more towards the Falkens? The Toyos are great tires. We have them on our 4Runner.
