To be fair, the truck has an electric motor too.

    B/c it has no legs!

Now, if we could also install a battery in the rider him/herself, the Universe would be whole.

For people that put in the work on the trails it's a bit bothersome to see an eBiker claim they are a mountain biker.

I have ridden an eBike up a serious grade in Bentonville, it was a badass Stumpjumper. I barely got winded. It was awesome but it's not mountain biking if you're being assisted with a motor.

I guess eBike Edition just didn't have enough pizzazze.

Interesting point. I usually am a purist myself. I even ride a unicycle along side bikes.

But what if the ebikes allow more folks to enjoy the mountains?

Went outside to give her a bath but rain clouds were gathering. Had a few parts stacking up so finally took the plunge to start chrome deleting the 1794 (yikes).

Started with a quick and easy one, replacing the mirror caps with factory paint matched. Absurdly easy. Sorry she's dirty, promise to get her sparkling to celebrate America's bday.

OEM Genuine Parts which seems to funnel orders to multiple dealers, mine was fulfilled by Carlock Toyota in Tupelo, MS. Highly recommend them! Better prices than my local dealer, and they called to verify fitment before confirming the order since technically these don't match my VIN.

    Part numbers for black are:

Too many people in the mountains already. The Great Panic lockdowns led to an influx of people in the backcountry. Now lots of places that were once lower traffic, pristine hideaways are packed with ignorant fuckheads and polluted with the trash they bring with them.

You've heard the phrase "get off my lawn"? Yeah, get outta my backcountry.

    Rant off.

Swapped back to the stock tailpipe with the larger resonator. Now that with dirty deeds muffler is great combination! It's not too loud but a little more aggressive than stock. Next up AFE intakes, hot charge pipes, and BMS blow off valves!

You have a different concern. My point is that people that are not physically able to pedal a bike might benefit from an ebike.

Hey, if it’s public land, anyone should be able to enjoy it. People just need to learn to leave a place cleaner than they found it.

I installed the KG-1000 radio and Midland antenna on the truck this weekend. If anyone is interested in the details, I did a write-up over on my build thread: KG-1000 Radio Install - Duster's Double Cab Build

It was a fun project and I like how it turned out. Side note: Ignore the dust & dirt in my truck. I don't treat it like a princess, and it gets dirty in the desert.

How do you like it? Been back and forth on a 3rd party vs OEM and think I’m leaning towards the OEM even if it costs more for what you get. Just like the simplicity of it vs other options.

Finished exhaust and intake projects. I settled on the dirty deeds muffler with the factory non trd tailpipe. That's the right sound level. Also installed the AFE CAI and hot charge pipe. Seat of the pants says the turbos spool faster.

so far, so good. The video is 1080p but could be clearer for sure. I found one on eBay at a good price so jumped in it. I like how integrated it is, though.

Hi Guys. I recently joined the group. I previously had a Taco that I modded the heck out of. Anyway, your conversation is similar to what I have been wondering and I bet you all can address my questions. I was wondering how you are electrically adding so many auxiliary items (additional lights, winch, etc.). The Taco was easy since it was a normal battery under the hood. However, I have read many posts that caution against messing with a hybrid vehicle. I too want to add a few things.

My thoughts are to install an auxiliary fuse panel that is fed from the battery. That will allow accessories to be hooked up to it instead of the battery. A winch would be a different story since it will need battery cables.

Are you using a bus bar of some sort?

Here is what I was considering from Amazon. It has the fuse panel, switches, etc. Seems like a descent kit.

Auxbeam 8 Gang Switch Panel GA80 Universal Circuit Control Relay System Automatic Dimmable LED On-Off Switch Pod Touch Control Panel Relay Box for Car Truck Pickup Boat UTV SUV-Green, 2 Year Warranty https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FQTCLZG

    Thanks for your time, Mark

Thanks for sharing the pictures. How is the Badlands winch working out? I had the 9K on my Taco and never had a problem, but I also kept it in the bed of the truck when not in use. Does yours hold up well to weather? TIA.
