Your best bet is either use the weld on replacement cover (if your issue is rust causing a leak) find a junkyard axle, or buy a new axle housing from Toyota.

I just replaced both of mine. Bought toyota axles and had a shop press the bearings and all. I had the brakes/plates on there when I dropped them off. It's all OEM. Are you looking for something different?

Do you have part numbers? Everything I seem to find is for a AC which I believe are shorter axles

Well, is it just me or did toyota completely thrash their parts site? A month ago I saw my axles for around 429 with pics and now I see more than one no pics and around 600. WTF?

Yup, so did I and as far as I'm aware they're the same, p/n 42311-34060. Just important the wheel cylinder is at the top of the backing plate when they go in.

Hmmm...the Bell Cranks face the rear of the truck, so let's say you put the right rear axle on the left side, then won't the Bell Crank be on the front side? (It was a rhetorical question...the answer is "yes").

Yeah, but this is just the axles not the backing plates. Once everything is pressed together then you definitely have a L and R. I think sometimes people buy the whole assembly already pressed, then it's also L and R of course

So this is just the axle I was hoping to find one with the backing plate and bearings already pressed

I believe that is only going to be aftermarket. But a good machine shop will press both sides for like 60-80 or something like that if you have all the parts.
