New addition

Well got my go rhino xrs cross bars and SRM500 basket installed.
Build quality is ok, had to repair a few pieces that were bent from shipping.
Attaching the basket required shimming down the mounting brackets and buying longer bolts (1-1/2”).
Also I got the side rails but can’t use them because the spacing doesn’t line up with basket mounting.
Overall it will do what I need it to do

 

Here’s a pic of the cross bars with the side rails. Puts cross bars too far apart

 

Can the side rails be cut down to get the cross bars closer?

 

Yes they can, I’m thinking that is my only option

How are you liking the GR XRS crossbars? Any regrets or wish you went with another option?

 

I’m liking them so far. Still haven’t cut down side bars ,but it’s doing what I need it to do
