Ive got the Firestone bags on the way but I think that I need a leaf. The bags alone shouldn't be lifting / leveling the rear of the ruck, a leaf should. The bags will help with an additional load on it.

I'll be honest, it's about preference but with a leaf, just be prepared for a little bumper ride without towing. Riderite is an awesome fix because you can dictate your ass end based on what you're hauling and not just get stuck with one setting. You'll like the ride brother.

Ive got the bags coming, just wondering if I need the leaf to at least get the truck level instead of relying on just the bags.

From what I understand the add a leaf will flatten out after not to long. Unless it's real, quality American spring steel. Most of the aftermarket ones are cheap Chinese crap steel. That's also the reason Toyota has always been known for having weak springs, they use low grade crap.

OK, so add a leaf, firestone air bags, and sway bar. Should cover it I would think for what I am doing.

Yeah, you don't want to use the bags for lift. But they do add 1/2" at the minimum of 5 psi. Put them on and run with it a while then decide if you need to add a leaf.

Ive got a feeling that I will need it. Truck is already sitting 2" lower than the front with no load on it.

That's exactly why I added it is because after I added my 7 inch BDS lift kit ..the rear end was sitting 2 inches lower then the front and I had a little pitch. Now my truck sits level .

Will add the leaf and do the bags and see what I get. What about a sway bar? I will have to take a look at what I can find. Got a 6" lift so I will have to find the right set up with the long end links. Any advise on a sway bar?

I have a 7 inch BDS lift and I ran the TRD sway bar in the rear and I did not have to do any modifications ..

Check out Summo Springs, great option, if you call then they will set you up with the right height. Not only for help with a load but also running empty. Like air bags without the drawbacks.

Just to be sure, so no longer links are needed with the TRD? My lift blocks are between the leafs and the axel. I would think that I would have to have longer links to rear back up to the frame???

So it looks like they are long enough. I can clearly see how much more space you have between the rubber pyramid frame bumpers than I have.

If I add the leaf, airbags, and the sway bar I should be good to go.

I know for sure with the lift and if you added the leaf springs you should be fine I cannot confirm on the airbags.

Think that will add the leaf and sway and then see what I get. Airbags might have to go back.
