I still have to play Fallen Order. Probably won't get to it anytime soon, though. But on the other hand, I don't think I'll ever be done with FO4!

Same. After I did the whole shield-jump glitch a ton (yes, I know it's cheating...no...I don't care.....LOL), I made a whole bunch of dumb weapons (Mushroom bats anyone?) just to see what works and stuff. This game is TONS of fun. :D

I suck at combat but I'm pretty good at sneaking around and I love the puzzles. I love that the game just doesn't really give a shit what you do, when you do it, and where you do it. So much fun.

Curious what you think of it. I don't have that kind of free time anymore, so I've switched over to League of Legands Wild Rift on my phone when I have 15 minutes or so to burn.

Dude, same. Was playing with my gf and he came out of nowhere. When we respawned and tried to go back to that same spot, he wasn't there.

I thought it was funny because I had the thought of when was I going to run into him and the Skeleton King since they were both staples of the games since the first. Seems like a nice touch for them to change things up a bit.

Just logged into FO4 last night. Leveled up to 103. It is still fun to jump in and lay waste to stuff I haven't done yet.

Yeah, I did a little checkin. Apparently he can randomly spawn in any dungeon. He had me in a tiny room with another mini boss. It was brutal..

It's really good! Overall it's very much still a Diablo game, but they really nailed the combat, which is well-tuned to the point that swapping out skills makes a noticeable difference and will suite varying game-play styles.

The biggest differences are the online thing and that it's focused more toward the end-game. Unless you really don't like encountering live players, it really hasn't been a bother. But my biggest complaint would be the end-game focus, as it makes a lot of
gear you get while doing the campaign pretty much throw-away. Since I prefer more solo play, I would have wanted a gear-set that I could have almost completed, upgraded, and wanted to keep before completing the story.
Enemies also scale now to player level, which caps at level 50 until you complete the campaign, which has its goods and bads.

I'll probably be on it for a while yet. I finished the main story over the weekend and started a 2nd class. I'll eventually get into the end-game, which on a positive note, the game is setup in a way that there's a ton of stuff to do still once the campaign is complete. Overall it was well worth the $70, which I admit was tough to swallow at first.

Never even heard of the Butcher till now. So I looked up a video. And now I'm getting scared just thinking about going into a dungeon lol.

Yeah, I remember being terrified of him when I first played Diablo 1. He was hard but always fairly beatable. This is a nice change of pace.

Ohhhh.... THAT GUY. Damn I didn't recall that and the video didn't help, and I played through all of them! My memory is not what it used to be. :eek2:

He wasn't that bad in D3, but looks way scarier of a fight in the D4 video I watched.

Yeah, the Butcher was tough in D1. I don't remember him in D2. In D3 he was kind of a joke, but then again D3 was just a gear grind, and since I had buddies that spent stupid amounts of time on the game, if I missed a season start, they could power level me to 70 in about 15 minutes, so at that point, it really did just become a how easy can I make Torment 16.

Ah, you're right. I don't think he made an appearance in D2. I just assumed since it'd been so long since I played it.

Oh cool, some other gamers. Fiance and I are playing through Diablo 4, but I got my barbarian all the way to level 50 before I decided I was bored of mashing whirlwind nonstop, and rerolled a rogue...

Cool thing is you can skip the campaign on an alt, even if you started it with the alt. Of course you still have to level to 50 for paragon/endgame content, but it goes quicker not having to play through the story again.

About to pull the trigger on the new Star Wars: Survivor game.

    The game trailers are enticing.

An old Jedi Master even helped Cameron Monaghan (Cal Kestis) with using the Force.

Just pulled the trigger on a PS5. Starting with Witcher, 'cause my wife liked watching me play Skyrim on old Xbox. Still picking flowers and killing wolves and figuring out buttons right now. Also GOW Ragnarok, when I finish Witcher. And I'll get Red Dead Redemption 2, RDR still a favorite, didn't have a console for RDR2 till now, and I like spaghetti westerns. But too many projects, so no telling when I'll get to them...

I played through this at release day actually, I was pretty excited about it. I loved the first one and played it through to 100% twice (rare for me, haven't done that since RDR2.) Survivor's launch was... rocky. As soon as you hit the main open world, even running modern high end graphics cards with low settings, it was a slideshow. The patches released have dramatically improved the experience. When I finish off Diablo 4 if there's nothing new to play at the time that I'm interested in, I'll go through it again, I had most worlds at 100% everything. I can highly recommend it for fun gameplay and entertaining storyline, technical release was ehhhh, but it's playable now for sure.

Oh enjoy the hell out of RDR2. The online gameplay is extremely toxic, skip it, but the storyline surprised me how much I really liked it.

I anticipate RDR3 with moderate concern for is ability to meet the new standard set. I don't like GTA games, but give me a horse and outlaw instead, and now we're talking.

Definitely they have, my framerate on a 3060 went from 15 to 60 with one patch, such a relief.

Well, EA is all about money. If they launch something that's subpar it'll affect their bottom line so you know they can't have that

Oh, yeah, I don't do online. I don't have the reflexes, eyesight, or practice time to play anything against a herd of entitled angry twelve year olds. If there's an RDR3, I'll get it first day!

Tell me you've never played an EA game without telling me you've never played an EA game.

They launch stuff in crap condition just like everyone else. It's been the biggest downside to online capable game systems. The developers have no problem selling you a broken, half finished turd because they can always promise to fix it later.

Whoa I've been gaming longer than most ppl so calm your tits there.

I'm far from being an EA fan boy. They ruined Origin when Garriott sold it to them thereby ruining my favorite MMO, Ultima Online. My point was that if their profitability is tied to performance, they'll throw money at it to fix, or attempt to, fix it. At least in the sense their accountants think it's fixed to secure a payout.
