Depends on the year. 2020 and newer do not like aftermarket sensors.

The OEM sensors from Toyota are about $65 each. When I bought tires right after buying the truck I ordered the sensors from Sparks and Discount put them in when they installed the tires.

Cleaned out leaves from front fender at the door. Never had done it before. Driver's side had a lot. None on the passenger side. No trees around me with these types of leaves. Must've been from the previous owner's place.

My fellow Tundra owners. I recently bought this for my 16' Highlander, but didn't realize it's only a 4-pin wire hookup. I didn't even think about it till' I got underneath the car.
Ya'll know this is for Tundra, Tacoma, 4Runner, Landcruiser that come with 8 pin plug harness. Brand new never hooked up. I did have to break the tabs to put a lock pin thru it for security, then realize it will not with the Highlander. Will fit all 2" receiver. Retail price online $160.
Asking $100 + $15 for shipping. PM if any interested. Paypal only.

The Highlander isn't 4-pin only, you just need to swap the OEM 4+7 harness into it if you're running an aftermarket hitch. Ask me how I know!

You should be able to get it to work with a 4 blade to 7 pin adapter since its just running lights. Something like this should work. You don't have to connect to both of the 7 pin connectors on the hitch light.

They get in up around the hood hinge area and fall from there. I would have to look to see if there is a way to close it off....Like a foam pad type of thing.

I got my front windshield tinted (clear ceramic), along w/ the sunroof. I can definitely tell a difference in the inside of the vehicle. For reference, front windows are lightly tinted, rest of the windows are factory privacy glass. Bloody hot here in AZ. Not happy w/ the windshield visor strip they did- I specifically asked for it to not drop below the dots around the mirror- this crap takes up 1/3 of the windshield. I got the strip for free after complaining, and have another appt in 2 weeks to get it replaced w/ a less big one.

Had a friend weld up some 1 inch bar (with some other scrap metal) and bent up a 22 ga cover to make a flag mount. Then I painted it and sandwiched it inbetween the tow bracket and frame so I could go drive out on the silver lake sand dunes in Michigan over the weekend.

@TundraMidwesterner I'm guessing the black framing is steel and goes under the red aluminum cover for strength? How long was it? I've been there before but not with the Tundra yet, I'd like to take it up there and I like the idea for the mount. How much did the flag bump the front of the truck while driving around the dunes?

Yes, black frame gets hidden by the red cover. Flag never touched but I had that piece of pipe insulation on there just in case. I’d have to take a measurement but the flag is about 6 inches away from the bumper. Making a more rigid mount vs what you can buy up there, extremely sturdy.

That's where it gets in? Mine was filled with several pounds of dirt, solid as can be. I can't imagine that many leaves got in and decomposed. I figure it must have got in somewhere between the fender liner and the mud flap. I have the front mud flaps off now due to rubbing. I'll be installing some Long John's as soon as I get the chance. Hopefully I can find a way to address this at the same time. But mine was also only the driver's side, same as the leaves. Hmmm...

Well, stainless brake hoses didn't end up going on today. Even with nice new flare wrenches, I couldn't get several fittings to break loose. But I'm pretty sold on returning them, after bedding in these new EBC pads and rotors! Pretty happy with the upgraded performance. Adjusted the parking brake while I was in the rear rotors, now they actually hold the truck still, yay.

That looks… terrible. I’m having my front windshield tinted Friday morning. Will make certain they don’t put a strip on.

Glad to hear they’re taking care of it.

I had similar problems on my 200 series. I replaced the front brakes with Tundra brakes. It took heating up some of the fittings with a camping torch to get them to break loose. Worth a shot!
