I didn't realize that finding the correct width, offset, color, and style for my 2021 Tundra would be so difficult.

I ended up going through Tirerack.com for four Alpha Wheels. Model is the Foxtrot in 17x8.5 with a +15 offset.

    foxtrol.jpg

Tires will be 285x70R17 Goodyear Wrangler UltraTerrains from Discount Tire that are actually 33.5" diameter. Bilstein 5100s will be here around the same time, so will be installing those prior to the wheels/tires.

Hoping it all comes together and transforms the look and capability of the pickup from a grandpa truck to a more capable weekend explorer truck.

Those are great wheels! You will probably have to pull your little mud flaps in the front of the wheel well because of the slightly aggressive +15 offset. Post up some pics when you get it done!

Hoping that is just a stock image and you have a 5x150 lug pattern ordered.

Otherwise, that color scheme should look killer on your vehicle. Looking forward to the end product!

Yeah, I was trying to find rims with the +25 offset but these popped up in my search as being on sale for $190, so I decided the 10mm difference would be safe gamble.

Having installed these exact tires on a 4Runner using 17x9 rim and 0 offset, I am familiar with a heat gun and sawzall, lol. I am wanting to install a winch bumper eventually, but the tires, wheels and lift have me tapped out for a couple of months. Should be enough clearance to let me get into the woods, though.

New wheels arrived. I ordered them with TPMS sensors installed and they are beautiful and I think the offset is going to be just fine.

However, I am puzzled by the presence of two holes for the valve stems... :monocle:

My factory rims only have the single hole. The description of the wheel mentions nothing about it, and the stock photo of the rim shows the two holes. Any ideas what the extra hole is for?

Those are sweet! Enjoy! This is from Alpha's website regarding the two valves.
    • Features our dual-valve system with protective collar to guard the TPMS valve stem from foreign objects

So what happened that you did not get the wheels in your original post?

I guess I used the wrong photo in the OP. I like this design better since easier to clean and more simple.

Did you order factory TPMS? Heard some brands have issues when switching.

Tire Rack assured me these will work with the Tundra, so I guess I'll find out.

I bought a whole wheel and tire package, my father did, and my buddy did as well all from tire rack and the sensors pair just fine. Just have to do the steps with the button on the bottom part of the dash.
Those look great. Can’t wait to see them mounted!
