Yeah, mine stays on for a bit after I shut the truck off and lock the doors, but goes off after a bit, totally normal. The brake controller works great, best on the market IMO.

They’re just doing their job right. No air tools on the locking lug nuts!

Every YT video I have seen so far has them doing it so I guess it's normal. Seems like a battery draw to me tho...

Does it actually make the truck faster or does it just change the throttle response?

Immediate throttle response, smoother shifting, and feels like more mid-range power.

Got it! I think I found my full setup. I even think the mounting hole spacing matches the dash mounts, and I'll go with a wireless charger too. That'll be my next upgrade as soon as I decide to upgrade my phone. Good timing to find that before getting some other phone case.

Scary stuff! :eek2: Can be a matter of life and death. One thing I wish our trucks had was 6 bolt wheels.

One time in my younger days out with friends a girl from out of town brought her car and I noticed some wheels had one or two missing lug nuts. She hadn't realized. I think her dad had recently bought it for her or something. I made sure they got replaced before she drove home.

Recently, when I got my truck back from the shop I asked what they torqued my wheels to. I shook my head when he said 97 ft-lbs. I said 154, 97 is for alloys. I hope whoever torqued them saw me out there re-torquing them myself. :frusty:

Good to hear! I am personally bought into their ecosystem, so I do not hesitate any more. Even bought the regular case for my work phone.

What % do you have? I have 50% on the windshield and 5% on the rest and have not had any issues at all. I have been using 5% since the early 90's.

Which rotors and pads did you go with? I had EBC rotors and pads before but not on this tundra. Planning on doing brakes soon.

I did the dimpled/slotted with the yellow pads. Green pads are on manufacturer backorder for a few months. Looking forward to it! Turning my OEM front rotors was a waste. Lasted around 10k miles.

Ordering tires and wondering if I should replace the TPMS's that are the factory originals or wait until they go out. Would suck to get them on and have the sensors fail shortly after.

I have no clue if the aftermarket ones are as good or if Toyota are the way to go?

I’ve gotten mine replaced every time I get tires and have not had any issues in the decades I’ve had it done.

I bought new OEM sensors for mine when I got tires a few months ago. Apparently they have a 5-10 year lifespan.

Really... well then maybe I will keep what I have they are all the OEM at about 5.5yrs. I will find out soon enough how much they are when they take the tires off because they will be asking. Thx

Discount Tire sensors work and are cheaper than OEM.
