    Hi all,
I have 22’ Tundra 4X4 TRD Sport. I just installed the light bar on the pro grill. Everything going fine. Next day when I start the Truck, it’s pop up “stop & start system malfunction”
I’m thinking may be I hitting something? That caused this message pop up?
Any idea will be appreciated. Thanks

Mine came on when I added the air compressor 9 months ago. I have since tried the following to fix with zero success. New bigger stronger battery, solar panel on hood hoping to give it more juice while driving, removed all accessories and added secondary battery with Renogy dc to dc charger, removed everything from starting battery for a drive to see and it still came on. I have tried all I could. Still the stupid light that never stops flashing is on. The dealership looks at my truck with 800 accessories and won’t dig into it. It’s just as annoying today as it was 9 months ago. Tech gods please help!

    Update….
Just got my Truck back after a week in Dealership shop. They’re finally fix the problem.
It’s call Booster pressure sensor shorted. After they replace the sensor then the message gone.

I have same message after I add light bar. After they hold my Truck for a week and they fix it.
Check out the picture I post above. It’s say Booster pressure sensor. May be you show your dealer this picture.

I too have a 22 tundra limited TRD, and it's been in the shop for over a week. They don't seem to know how to fix it, and have now ordered a new wiring harness. Only 7k miles on the truck. Maybe I should have kept my ol reliable 2012 without all the fancy stuff! Now I'm rollin in a loaner Camry.

apparently the issue was water got inside under the console by the cup holders where the drive mode knob is at thats what caused the error message for me they asked if i spilled anything but i didnt , they said the wiring was sticky as well as the connector

One month now and still truck still in shop! Service manager said they have to build and replace the entire wiring harness. As I expressed my frustration, he suggested I call Toyota.

Over a month, 2022 Tundra still in the shop with 7000 miles. Dealer can’t fix problem. Had to borrow my buddies 2015 Nissan to pull my boat for family vacation. Come on Toyota!!!

I’ve claimed lemon law with Toyota and the attorney general. The problem seems to be that they don’t know what to do. Very frustrating.

This happened to me a few days after installing Alpharex Headlights. Disconnected Alpharex fuse from fuse box and message goes away. Any advice? (Other than removing Alpharex headlight lol)
