Hello, I been doing a lot of searching online and was looking for a bike rack that would fit on top of the bed rails and hold heavy electric bike. It seems like all “roof top” racks are designed for the light weight bikes. One of the options is removing batteries, but still be caring 50+ lbs. Anyone seen anything like this?

I can't imagine having to remove the front wheel, and then lift my wife's 50+lb Turbo Levo up onto rails, while having to line up the fork...If you must have them in the bed I would get some black extruded aluminum or 80/20 cross bars like the product above and mount individual bike cradles from a 1up rack. I've removed mine from the main frame that goes into the hitch before it's pretty easy. Or just get a 1up and call it a day.

We've had good experience with the Yakima Frontloader.

1Up is another great choice. Their roof rack can be mounted to our crossbars.

We make these in North America, designed to keep everything in the bed of your truck, easy to take in and out, and with the optional rear high crossbar you can fit up to 12 bikes. Made of aluminum and powdercoated so they are lightweight and will not rust.
