So got an email from rip off city, aka yota garage about hot new products and saw these wind buffeting diffusers…. For $149.99!! Curiosity got the best of me so checked around and can get the same thing on eBay for $49. Ordered a set to see if they work, will report back

I read this as “buffet-ing” like, hittin up the Golden Corral

 

curious that you call them rip off city. i just ordered a tonneau cover from them but i havent seen anything about it being shipped out yet. should i be worried?

 

9 times out of 10 they are the most expensive place to buy anything, sometimes hundreds more than even the stealer ship

 

gotcha, i just went with the rough country tonneau cover, seemed like the same price as other places ive seen for a roll up cover. i'll keep that in mind for next time, thanks.

I'll give them a call after work. They were quick to respond to me yesterday saying it would ship out yesterday, but when I asked them this morning of the status it's been silent.

 

guess i got lucky, tracking information says i'll have it Monday, plus the price was the same as rough countrys website. also their customer service was great with me. quickly answered emails and helpful over the phone.

 

Any update on these? I’m curious if they help with that highway wind noise.

 

Still about a week out from getting them, shipping from china.

 

Why don't they show specs on this bs

 

Weathertech makes in-channel window deflectors that will cover the forward part of the window. I have them installed in my 2015 and get no buffeting with the windows open.
