Will the dealer do these things for free for us?

Doubt they'll turn off the seat belt chime. Some owners have been able to get the dealer to turn off the fake v8 or make changes, free of charge. Some have offered to do it at a price and others had no clue what they were talking about. Talk to your dealer

My dealer said they can turn of the driver but not the passengers.

I had 10 faults, the dealership can figure those out.

The desire to $$ a crista for temp settings is beyond me. It’s around 103 here, before noon, my wife’s setting is 70 and mine is 68. Any lower and we would need sweatshirts. ;-)

I turned off the fake noise and then turned it back on. The V6 is strong but the sound is weak. I did keep the seatbelts killed.

    Start your engine.

    This surprises me.
The sensors go out to 1/100th of a pound and 2 of my tires are the exact same.

Pages of stuff like oil temp and engine load. There a lot of stuff. I'll screenshot later. When I looked earlier after a 15 min drive engine oil temp was 95. It's 100+ in Houston today. Dash said 104. My guess if there's a sensor for it you can see it.

    Nice.

User Mayan actually just stopped by and let me use his! Turns out my engine noise was already off lol. But I was able to turn off the stupid seat belt chime. Thanks again, Mayan!

My dealer in Canada shut off the engine noise and dinged me $40. So I ordered a Carista .....and will offer it to any one around me just to stick it to the dealer. Right now I have 6 trucks lined up when it gets here

Just used this with an older Bluetooth obd2 scan tool I had and it worked. No more EES and now my dog can sit in the passenger seat without making the chime go off forever. The window feature is cool too, just wish I could make them roll up with the key.

The one Mayan has is the veepeak. I was curious if it worked with any obd2 Bluetooth device.

Exactly why we adjusted it, so when its set to 70, the temp is actually 70. Whereas you are having to put it at 68 to get 70. Not a big deal, but if I have it, I am changing the setting to what I want.
I wanted mine to mimic the old tundra, so set at 70 and fuggedaboutit. It matters when the outside temp is near the inside temp, if it's 69 outside I don't want the AC coming on because I have it set at 68.

I bought mine to get rid of the engine noise and seat belt dings. Trying taking a trip with two dogs that don't sit still. 10 hours with 5 of them with seat belt dings will drive a sane man mad. My 2016 only had front seat sensors and the dinger went off after 30 seconds. $40 bucks is a bargain for my sanity.

I am a seat belt wearer and the dash still blinks if I forget.

But when it's set on low it's not like it blows colder. And right now in Texas low is the only option

It’s been in the low to mid 100’s all week (108 yesterday), and our factory setting of 70 (wife) and 68 (me) has kept our interior more than cool enough for both of use. I suspect the idea of tinkering with your vehicles is the itch your scratching.

As stated before; your truck, your money. :D Kept having fun.

One thing to consider. The Android app. will be easier to connect with other Bluetooth devices than Apple.
