WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO YOUR 3RD GEN TUNDRA TODAY?

It just came with the standard that comes with the SR5. Not premium audio.

 

Installed my Bedrug. My tonneau cover from Real Trucks will be here today for thr additional install.

 

i always thought that bed rugs were an odd thing to have, but the more i see them the more i like them lol. my tonneau cover should be here soon as well.

 

After 24 years in the Army, my knees are in shambles. The padding this thing gives is amazing! I think if I had to do it again, I would have only done the Bedrug bottom pad. My truck has a spray-on bed liner.

 

I hear you I was army EOD my knees and back are jacked up lol. Funny thing my son and I were sitting in the bed of the truck yesterday (he is 7) and said he wishes the back wasn't so hard lol

Sorry new to trucks, is the front supposed to be that high? Or are you parked on an incline?

 

Has anyone seen a black covering for the OEM non-tow outside mirrors? Even though my truck is CS color I think the chrome backs on the outside mirrors is kind of dumb. I'd like to make them either black or perhaps color matched to CS. TIA

That fit looks so much better than my mx4. I might swap.

 

just wanted to update this...still works great but found a couple of things not mentioned on the site

• Memory seat does NOT work automatically after you remote start with this...you have to push the memory button once you tap the brakes to get your seat back to driving position
• You can activate it while the truck is running and get out...sorta like turbo timer I guess
• If you remote start using this and you open any door other than driver first, it'll shut down
• You can lock and unlock with the 2-way extended range remote...not sure about the 1-way
• Customer service NEVER got back to me with some questions I had....hopefully I never need to reach them for critical issues

I spent like a week deciding between MX4 and X4S. I REALLY like it. Install was stupid easy. Ran it through a touchless car wash today and it only let the tiniest bit of water in at the tailgate.

The seamless vinyl top and leaving some rear cab window available when you have it open are just icing on the cake.

i should have done that! i wanted to do the satin "stealth" wrap

 

Added TRD Pro/Heritage grille had it painted gloss black to match lower panel. Blue tundra lettering front and on tailgate. Tinted front windows and upper windshield. Also role up tonneau cover. Have Trd marker lights for grille but haven't had them installed. Talking with shop about 3" lift fuel wheels and Nitto recon grapplers. Finding there is very few choices for lifts and shocks.

 

Added BumperShellz chrome delete to the mustache. Very happy with the outcome, unpacking to completion took about 45 minutes. Definitely will purchase their window trim delete when available.

 

A little proof-of-concept for hauling our Yakima rooftop box and a bike on the bed of the Tundra. The box has to be mounted backward, but it all fit well enough. Now we’re not forced into taking our Sienna on a family trip when we don’t need the box.

Made a platform for our furry daughter.

 

Looks like its in 2 sections, so easy to put in and out. Looks great!

 

Used some double sided tape to mount a wireless charging puck in the phone holder area. Used Carista to remove seatbelt dings and add extra blinks to the turn signal soft push.

 

My platform is on top the seat. When we travel add a bunk bed mattress for the wife. Painters tape keeps shiney parts from get scratched by the dogs. One dog rides shotgun the other camps out with the wife. I have some foam on the seat to protect. Platform is from my 2016 works in the 2023.

 

Keep in mind the sun-out days haven’t been warm. It is relaxing and getting flatter with each day nonetheless!
