Install video is done. But it's the most unpolished thing I could make in the time I had. It will be posted to the installation page once more parts are sent out. (We sent out our first part YESTERDAY!! No, I have no idea who is getting it. We just slapped a label on it. I think it's a Gloss Black, but I'm not certain.

You say this as I put hardware into baggies. Your box is just waiting to be taped up. Definitely going out today. I'm not looking at our UPS account right now. What's your ETA?

 

No ETA yet, just says label created for my shipment.
But from Rocklin CA to Salem OR is an 8 hr drive, so should be about 3 days knowing UPS. So next week after the holiday would be my guess.

 

What holiday is next week? Also, I just put your box out there. Should be Friday or Monday by my guess. We have had GapShields show up next day just over the next state.

 

Juneteenth is now a federal holiday.

Maybe Friday if I’m lucky, occasionally stuff comes in 2 days, but of course I’m out of town till Saturday…
My son will be home to take into the garage though.

You asked so here it is! The install video for the mustache. As of this posting, it is still rendering in 4K over on YouTube, but it's still looking good in Standard Definition

 

question....will the adhesion promoter permanently stain the trim? I've used some promoters that are either really hard to remove or perma stain. I dont really care either way since I do have a spare mustachio I could swap if the promoter might stain my platinum stuff.

 

This is a question we didn't really account for. However, we use 3M adhesion promoter that goes on clear. You can remove it with high concentrate isopropyl alcohol.

Look great so far in the bags. Well packaged and no external or internal packaging damage.
Hoping to have time to install next weekend. I’ll report back then.

Nope! We allow our parts to cure for about 48-72 hours before they are bagged and shipped. You should have no issues with this.

But I called this morning and he's doing Army Green today and tomorrow and Lunar Rock on Thursday. But we already have a couple of Army Greens sitting here, so I'm trying to get him to flip flop it.

 

Less AG and LR and more Celestial Silver

 

Any color that isn't AG or LR isn't getting sprayed until next week or the following. It takes the painter a few hours to clear his paint lines. Unless you want a super groovy multi-color mustache, man
