One more step closer to completing my build out. 6" procomp lift with ICON UCAs and 35x11.50 R20 with Fuel wheels.

 

Put in my s&b today. More of a pain in the butt than it should have been, but some of that was user error . Sounds good, and a little more throttle response.

 

Is this something seen with a topper or rack that carries a tent? So the weight spreads out the composite bed?

correct, happens with metal beds as well. Overland style racks are usually worse than toppers since they do not distribute the weight as evenly. These are big in the Tacoma world

 

what bumper and how did it do? Or did it make it across?

 

@Slimwood Shady , Care to share any details on how to sound deaden the doors? I get some bad bass rattle at times.

 

thanks only truck I had a topper on was my ‘12 Cummins long bed srw 3500. It did not have issues.

 

You remove the door panel and apply the deadening material to the inside skin. Then use the deadening material on the outside skin to fill any holes.

Brought the tire pressures down a bit (Carolina Beach, NC)

 

Found a good deal on a EGR Hood scoop. Added to Squatch today with the help of the Bride. Think it looks pretty good and low profile enough it really does not mess with the view from the cock pit.
Pretty simple install, will see how it holds up over time.

Also put a good wash on. Killing many bugs on my treck to and from temp home to real home.

What audio system did your truck come with? (JBL?). Asking because I would like to swap out my speakers for the ones you chose if the JBL system in my truck is compatible with them.

OEPlus wheel. Almost identical knock-offs from the BBS ones. Same lug-nuts used, CB identical to OEM's, +15 off set.
