They only ship certain cookies. Pretty lame IMO, but it's not like it hurts their business.

Make sure you teach her to keep that stuff secured. If an accident that kind of stuff becomes a missile, so do passengers not wearing seatbelts, and they can kill you. Hell, a pillow loose in the car can kick your ass in a wreck.

 

No wonder you don’t sleep well, it sounds like your using the wrong pillow

 

Haha! Just stating that loose objects in a car go flying in an accident, and getting hit by them can cause injury.

 

So after listening to you all talk about these cookies, I was stoked they put a store in near me. Then the wife reminded me we had them a few years ago at a friend’s home. None of us liked ‘em. Too sugary and too much frosting.

So more for you all I guess.

 

Several years ago, there was an accident in front of where I work. A guy fell asleep,side swiped a half dozen parked cars and stopped at a utility pole. It was a Chevy suburban and was filled with tools and paint.
He wasn't seriously injured, could've easily been killed, but was covered in paint.
This is specifically why I prefer a pickup to an SUV.
Cargo is in the vehicle, but outside of the cabin.

 

My mom fell last night and broke her hip, so I was in the ER till 1:30am, and am back in the hospital now waiting on docs. Still want that vicarious stuff?

 

I take responsibility for both my kids (daughter and son), but there’s something about having a daughter that amps up the pressure. Thankfully my daughter is taking after her mom, so I don’t expect I will ever get a call with her crying b/c a guy wronged her. The call will be about having to find a good lawyer cuz someone is in the hospital…

 

Oh no! I'm so sorry for your Mother! I hope they can get her patched up and feeling better.

I need the vicarious stuff to avoid my own grief right now, so I feel for your situation.

 

. This cracked me up. Instead of staying “slammed into” or “rammed”, saying “stopped” makes it sound like the driver woke up, saw a roadside farm stand and said “Oh, fresh berries…”

 

More driveway camping. My parents home has three bedrooms and the kids are too old to share a room now. So we drag the trailer up for visits for a 4th bedroom basically.

 

Thanks. She's a tough lady so she'll be okay, but they aren't doing her surgery today so she is not happy.

 

Tell her it's just God's way of telling her to slow the hell down! If she gets mad you know you can outrun her!

 

Did you try slipping the doc a 5 spot to speed things up?

 

Well that's a shitty Friday night, hope she recovers quick!

 

A few years ago I herniated a lower back disc and it herniated in a not so typical direction. It caused bad hip pain and when I went for x-rays, thinking I hurt my hip somehow, the tech was trying to push my leg into a weird figure 4 position to get a pic. The pain was so bad I almost passed out.
All that to say, I can't imagine actually breaking something in there. That's gotta be effn horrible.

A little yard work this morning then we're having a birthday party here for my youngest. 40+ people invited

 

Good grief. I couldn't do 40 people for a birthday. Intimate family only. The world gives kids enough self-esteem and ego these days!
