Going to call and see if Autonation Collision can replace it with an OEM. Safelite has horrible reviews so I will most likely cancel the appointment.

You can request Safelite to install OEM Glass. They tried scaring me into aftermarket. They said I would have to pay-out of pocket for OEM. I said OK. Got the invoice after requesting OEM Glass, $0 owed. Insurance 100% covered it.
They just replaced my wife's Pilots glass with OEM (Pilkington)
I would highly advise against aftermarket glass, it is trash.
Toyota OEM Glass < Honda/ Acura OEM Glass < Mercedes/ BMW Glass.
I have been to several OEM glass manufacturers so I get to see competitor products and confirmation processes. My tundra has more glass distortion than I would like.

I went local, they talked like OEM was all available. And I have to take it in, so they can calibrate the camera.

What are your first impressions? What tire size are you going with?

Request OEM, only. I would advise against aftermarket.

    I'm on 275/70/18 Goodyear duratracs @ 42psi
I'm impressed with overall ride improvement with the 5160/6112 @ 1.9 setup over the factory TRD sport suspension. Suspension feels firmer but not in a bad way, goes over bumps and potholes with a more controlled bounce feel. Small road imperfections I can barely feel them.

When my windshield on my first Tundra cracked I used the same company which was a family owned company that Toyota Used. I didn't go safelite either.

Oil change and a week at the Texas A&M campus for the IRECA competition (Rope rescue). ~110F index the last two days and it was 4-6 hours outside each day. Brutal heat for the competition, but for my first year to participate, it was a blast! Two other TRD pros there, as well.

My DD SS3s arrived from HotShot off-road just before i left town, so they get installed this weekend. Should have all the lights wired up and ready to roll this weekend. Will post pics once I get that done, assuming I suffer through more heat.

IMG_7038.jpg I’m running that second one. The white LED’s are bright and nice, the red bars are pretty dim and the entire brake light was either warped/bowed from the factory or from sitting uninstalled in my garage for a year ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Got up before the sun and washed the truck while it was nice and cool! Then had to relocate the Pro Grill from my first Tundra.

Technically speaking, factory location but I do have an aftermarket bumper from Ironman4x4. The SS3s will be on the factory switch & wiring. With the bumper I got 2 amber work lights and a light bar that will be wired separately from the fogs.

Changed the oil. Went with 5W-30 this time to see how much, if any, difference it'll make with engine noise. Also, looking over older oil change threads with regard to capacity I've noticed that my manual calls for 8.5 qts (with filter change), while older manuals specify 7.9. No wonder there's so much variation in how many quarts constitute "full".
