Any of you guys go with this yet for 3rd/brake light? It caught my eye and could be a possibility for me. Was wondering if anyone had any reviews on it yet?

I’ve had mine on the truck for a couple of months now with no signs of leaking this far. And she’s been through some hellacious rain storms. We also have them available over here at Hotshot Offroad as well if you haven’t committed to a source

Ahh, thanks for letting me know. I’ll search google for images of the Morimoto light. I’m digging your Evils though! Would need a matching set for the tail lights. My wish list is getting out of hand haha :spending:

I'm reading through and may have missed it... What are you trying to get a photo of, specifically? I might be able to help, but I don't think that I understand the question reading through the chatter above.

Did you just use the gasket that comes with it and cleaned off the old stuff. Just double checking.

Yes I did. The OEM gasket is TOUGH to remove. Just a lot of patience. I then cleaned it up completely to make sure there was no remaining residue. I used the foam gasket that came with the Morimoto light, and did no add'l sealing. It gets pulled on pretty hard by the bolts.

My bad… I searched google for both lights and realized i’m an idiot. I was originally asking for a picture of the Evil Manufacturing brake light installed with the lights on. I had thought I was looking at the lights underneath the cover but that is the cover.

Looks good tnx. Not asking you to go take more pics, but if offhand u have a couple more showing whole truck with light I'd be interested. Especially if you happen to have stock tails. I'm curious if they clash and would open the door to changing those out as well. Am I correct in my assumption that install is simple remove couple screws, pop off stick cover, disconnect harness, connect harness, screws back in?

I like the outside mount better because you can get in there easier than the inside mounted ones. Then again if someone wants to stand on my BakFlip and walk up they can unbolt them but it has the security screws that will slow them down enough to get me a chance at a better aim :infantry:

Yeah I saw that. They also added another LED for the brakes I think. Mine has 2 and the newer lights have 3.

In Florida it is required that insurance companies cover the replacement 100%. If it is in the line of sight, replace. if not, repair.

Anyone replaced their parking brake shoes? I get that the Tundra's my heaviest vehicle I've owned, but I can barely tell when the ebrake's applied. Couple of times I've even driven off with it on and couldn't tell until it beeped at me, which I'm really glad it does. I'm sizing up some brake kits (can do front and rear dimpled/slotted coated EBC rotors with green pads for around $550) and I'm curious what shoes I should maybe look at for getting my parking brake to really do something. I do haul a fairly light 6x12 trailer sometimes, but as it sits I wouldn't trust it with the brake on a hill, thus why I carry two chock sets in the trailer.

Just inspect and adjust first... those shoes would probably never wear out on you.
